4 Assembly

4.1 Installation Guidelines

It is necessary during installation to observe codes of good practice, to comply with local requirements and to follow the installation instructions. The installation location should be protected against frost and be easily accessible.

· In case the mains supply fails during the backwash the batteries (if they are fitted) provide the energy for closing the backwash ball valve. The battery charge should be checked regularly. At the latest after two years exchange the batteries with new ones
· In order to avoid flooding, it is recommended to arrange a permanent, professionally dimensioned wastewater connection
4.2 Assembly instructions 1. Close isolating valves 2. Open the ball valve
Check availability of a suitable drainage outlet or catchment vessel.
3. Filter connection 1/2"- 11/4" (also 11/2" and 2" manufactured 1995 and onwards) · Unscrew the ball valve from the filter (whilst restraining with the forked key SW 24) · Screw in the Z11AS with the sealing ring provided · Screw existing drain connection or hose connector into the Z11AS
4. Filter connection sizes 11/2" and 2" (up to 1995): · Unscrew ball valve from filter, whilst restraining with a 24 mm open-end wrench · Push and turn the ball valve on the Z11AS by 180° so that the internal thread is towards the filter · Screw in Z11AS using existing seal ring
5. Flange filter sizes DN65 to DN100 · Unscrew ball valve from filter · Seal in the ball valve of the Z11AS with suitable material (e.g. hemp) · Screw existing drain connection into Z11AS
6. Insert electrical plug
4.3 Fitting Batteries and Fuses The batteries provide a power supply to close the ball valve in compliance with regulations if the mains current fails during the reverse rinsing cycle.
Batteries are not supplied with the appliance.

When our drain connector is used, the free 20 mm discharge dimension required in EN 806-5 is integral with the connector.
2. Discharge into existing floor drainage

5.2 Setting of the Reverse Rinsing Interval

EN 806-5 requires that a reverse rinsing cycle must occur at intervals of not more than two months. The time interval should be set according to the level of contamination present.

Press pushbutton until the required programme appears on display

Display indicates the number of completed reverse rinsing cycles. This number can be reset by briefly pressing pushbutton.
Service Indicator Displays If programme pushbutton and reset pushbutton (for five seconds) are pushed at the same time, the remaining time to the next timed reverse rinsing cycle is indicated on and display will indicate the corresponding time interval between reverse rinsing cycles (0= minutes, 1 = hours and 2 = days). After electrical power has failed, when it is restored a reverse rinsing cycle will automatically occur. The set timed programme and counter reading are retained. Counter can be reset to 0 by pressing reset button.

Manual Actuation of the Reverse Rinsing Reset - press pushbutton for five seconds Manual Reverse Rinsing when Electrical Power is off Push the housing against the ball valve and towards the filter and turn the housing 90° anticlockwise. After approximately 15 seconds return the housing to the original outlet position.
6 Additional connection options
6.1 Remote switching The Z11AS can be remotely actuated by: a) A volt-free switching circuit b) Via an open-collector output.
In both cases the minimum holding period is one second. Reverse rinsing occurs when the inputs "Start" and "U+" have been separated
6.2 Remote monitoring For remote monitoring of the open/closed position of the ball valve the installation of a building management system with 0 to 10 V input is recommended. The maximum current is 10 mA. With a current of 0.5 V the ball valve is open and with a value between 5 V and 6 V the ball valve is closed.
6.3 Differential pressure switch The reverse rinsing function can be actuated according to demand using the DDS76 differential pressure switch with voltage free switching. It is recommended that the differential pressure be set to 1.0 bar. Operation occurs when the inputs "Start" and "U+" have been separated, that is, after the differential pressure has fallen below the set value. Through this it is guaranteed that a maximum quantity of water is available for reverse rinsing. If reverse rinsing starts immediately irrespective of the duration of the differential pressure signal, then the inputs should be connected instead to "U+" and "SIGN".
CAUTION! The DDS76 differential pressure switch can only be used where F76 / F76S / F76S-F fine filters are also installed.

4 Montage

4.1 Einbauhinweise

Beim Einbau sind die örtlichen Vorschriften, sowie allgemeine Richtlinien und die Einbauanleitung zu beachten. Der Einbauort muss frostsicher und gut zugänglich sein.
· Falls die Netzspannung während der Rückspülung ausfällt, stellen die Batterien (falls vorhanden) die Energie zum Schließen des Rückspülkugelventils

bereit. Die Batterieladung muss regelmäßig überprüft werden. Spätestens nach zwei Jahren sind die Batterien auszutauschen. · Um Überflutungen zu vermeiden, empfiehlt es sich einen dauerhaften fachgerecht dimensionierten Abwasseranschluss herzustellen

5 Inbetriebnahme

Bei Verwendung unseres Ablaufanschlusses ist der nach DIN EN 806-5 geforderte freie Auslauf von 20 mm integriert.
2. Ablauf in vorhandenen Bodenabfluss

5.2 Einstellen des Rückspülintervalls

Nach DIN EN 806-5 muss spätestens alle 2 Monate eine Rückspülung durchgeführt werden. Die Rückspülintervalle sind vom Verschmutzungsgrad des Wassers abhängig.

Programm-Taste solange betätigen, bis im Display das gewählte Programm erscheint.

Display zeigt die Anzahl der durchgeführten Rückspülungen.
Serviceanzeigen Bei gleichzeitigem Drücken der Programm-Taste und der Reset-Taste (5 s gedrückt halten) wird im Display die verbleibende Zeit bis zum nächsten programmgesteuerten Rückspülen angezeigt und im Display die dazugehörige Zeiteinheit. (0= Minuten,1= Stungen, 2= Tage). Nach einem Stromausfall wird bei Wiedereinsetzen des Netzstroms automatisch ein Rückspülvorgang ausgelöst. Das eingestellte Zeitprogramm und der Zählerstand bleiben erhalten. Durch Drücken der Reset-Taste kann der Zähler auf 0 gesetzt werden. Manuelles Auslösen einer Rückspülung Reset - Taste 5 Sekunden gedrückt halten

Manelle Rückspülung bei Stromausfall Gehäuse gegen Kugelventil in Richtung Filter drücken, gleichzeitig von der anderen Seite am Kugelventil gegenhalten und Gehäuse um 90° drehen. Nach ca. 15 Sekunden wieder in Ausgangsstellung drehen.
6 Zusätzliche Anschlussmöglichkeiten
6.1 Fernschaltung Die Z11AS lässt sich fernauslösen durch: a) einen potentialfreien Umschaltkreis b) Über einen Open-Collector-Ausgang
Die Mindesthaltezeit beträgt in beiden Fällen eine Sekunde. Die Rückspülung erfolgt, nachdem die Eingänge Start und U+ wieder getrennt wurden.
6.2 Fernüberwachung Zur Fernüberwachung der Auf-Zu-Stellung des Kugelventils empfehlen wir die Installation eines Gerätes der zentralen Leittechnik mit 0 - 10 V Eingang. Der max. Strom beträgt 10 mA. Bei anliegender Netzspannung bedeutet ein Ist-Wert kleiner 0,5 V, dass das Kugelventil offen ist. Bei einem Wert zwischen 5 V und 6 V ist das Kugelventil geschlossen.
6.3 Differenzdruckschalter Die Rückspülfunktion lässt sich mit dem Differenzdruckschalter DDS76 mit potentialfreiem Mikroschalter bedarfsabhängig auslösen. Wir empfehlen eine Einstellung auf 1 bar Differenzdruck. Die Auslösung der Rückspülautomatik erfolgt erst nachdem die Eingänge START und U+ wieder getrennt wurden, d.h. nach Abfallen des Differenzdruckes unter den eingestellten Wert. Dadurch wird gewährleistet, daß eine maximale Wassermenge für die Rückspülung zur Verfügung steht. Soll die Rückspülung sofort, d.h. unabhängig von der Dauer des Differenzdrucksignals erfolgen, so sind stattdessen die Eingänge ,,U+" und ,,SIGN" anzuschließen.
VORSICHT! Der Differenzdruckschalter DDS76 kann mit Z11AS nur beim Feinfilter F76 und F76S-F eingesetzt werden.

4 Assemblage

4.1 Consignes d'installation

Lors de l'installation il faudra respecter les prescriptions locales ainsi que les directives générales et les instructions de montage. Le lieu d'installation doit être protégé contre le gel et être facilement accessible.

· En cas de panne de secteur pendant le lavage à contre-courant, les piles (si elles sont installées) fournissent l'énergie nécessaire à la fermeture de la vanne à bille du lavage à contre-courant. La charge des batteries doit être vérifiée régulièrement. Au plus tard au bout de deux ans, remplacez les piles par des piles neuves
· Afin d'éviter un débordement, il est recommandé d'installer un raccord d'eaux usées permanent aux dimensions professionnelles
4.2 Instructions d'assemblage 1. Fermer les vannes d'obturation 2. Ouvrir la vanne à boisseau
Prévoir une évacuation adéquate ou un récipient.
3. Raccords de filtre 1/2" - 11/4" (11/2 " et 2" depuis 1995) · Dévisser la vanne à boisseau du filtre (en retenant celui-ci à l'aide de la clé plate SW 24) · Visser le dispositif Z11AS avec la bâgue d'étanchéité qui s'y trouve jointe · Visser le raccord d'évacuation ou bien le raccord de tuyau disponible, dans l'automate Z11AS
4. Raccords de filtre 11/2" et 2" (jusqu'à 1995): · Dévisser la vanne à boisseau du filtre (en retenant celui-ci à l'aide de la clé plate SW24) · Faire tourner la vanne à boisseau de l'automate Z11AS de 180° en la poussant de façon à ce que le filetage intérieur soit dirigé vers le filtre · Visser l'automate Z11AS en le fixant avec la bâgue d'étanchéité disponible.
5. Filtres à brides DN65 - 100 · Dévisser la vanne à boisseau du filtre · Etancher de nouveau la vanne à boisseau de l'automate Z11AS avec un produit d'étanchéité approprié (du chanvre par exemple) · Visser le raccord d'évacuation disponible dans l'automate Z11AS
6. Engager la fiche dans la prise de courant
4.3 Fitting Batteries and Fuses En cas de coupure de courant pendant le rinçage à contrecourant, les piles assumeront la fermeture en bonne et due forme du robinet à boisseau.
Les piles ne sont pas comprises dans la livraison.

5 Démarrage

5.1 Evacuation de l'eau de rinçage à contre-courant

En utilisant notre raccord de vidange, une ouverture d'évacuation libre de 20 mm telle que la norme EN 806-5 l'exige, se trouve intégrée.
2. Vidange dans une conduite d'évacuation existante le sol
5.2 Réglage de la fréquence de rinçages à contre-courant

Selon EN 806-5 il faut procéder au moins tous les deux mois à un rinçage à contrecourant. Cette fréquence dépend du degré de pollution de l'eau.
Réglage d'autres fréquences Choisir la fréquence désirée dans le tableau imprimé sur le couvercle

Enfoncer la touche-programme jusqu'à ce que le programme choisi apparaisse sur l'écran.

L'écran indique le nombre de rinçages à contrecourant effectués. La remise à zéro du compteur se fait en appuyant brièvement sur la touche de remise à zéro.
Indications de service En enfonçant en même temps les touches programme et remise à zéro (pendant 5 sec.),

le temps qui reste jusqu'au prochain rinçage à contrecourant effectué par le programm, est indiqué sur le cadran tandis que le cadran indique l'unité de temps y relatif. (0 = minutes, 1 = heures, 2 = jours). Après une coupure de courant, le processus de rinçage à contre-courant est déclenché automatiquement dès que le courant revient. Le rogramme horaire instauré ainsi que la position du compteur restent inchanges. Amorce manuelle d'un rinçage à contrecourant Enfoncer la touche de remise à zéro pendant 5 sec. Rinçage à contre-courant manuel en cas de coupure de courant Pousser le boîtier contre la vanne à boisseau dans la direction du filtre, en retenant en même temps la vanne à boisseau de l'autre côté et tourner le boîtier de 90°. Après environ 15 sec. le tourner de nouveau dans sa position initiale.
6 Fonctions supplémentaires
6.1 Commutation à distance Le Z11AS peut être déclenché à distance a) d'un circuit à permutation exempt de potentiel b) Par l'intermédiaire d'une sortie Open-Collector
Dans chaque cas, la durée minimum de maintien se monte à 1 seconde. Le rétro-lavage s'effectue après que les entrées START (démarrage) et U+ aient été à nouveau séparées.
6.2 Télésurveillance Pour la télésurveillance de la position ouvert-fermé de la soupape sphérique, nous recommandons l'installation d'un appareil de la technique centrale de conduction, avec une entrée de 0 - 10 V. Le courant maximum se monte à 10 mA. Pour tension de secteur adjacente, une valeur effective inférieure à 0,5 V signifie que la soupe sphérique est ouverte. Lorsque la valeur se trouve entre 5 V et 6 V, ceci signifie que la soupape sphérique est fermée.
6.3 Interrupteur à pression différentielle La fonction de rétrolavage peut être déclenchée sur demande par l'interrupteur de pression différentielle DDS76 avec microrupteur exempt de potentiel. Nous recommandons l'ajustage à une pression différentielle de 1 bar. Le déclenchement du mécanisme automatique de rétrolavage s'effectue seulement après que les entrées START (démarrage) et U+ aient été à nouveau séparées, c'est à dire après la chute de la pression différentielle à une valeur inférieure à celle ajustée. Ceci permet de garantir la disponibilité d'une quantité maximale d'eau pour le rétrolavage. Dans le cas où le rétrolavage doit s'effectuer

immédiatement, c'est à dire indépendamment de la durée du signal de pression différentielle, alors il faudra plutôt brancher les sorties U+ et SIGN.

4 Montaggio

4.1 Istruzioni di installazione

Durante il montaggio si deve rispettare la regolamentazione locale nonché le direttive generali e le istruzioni per il montaggio. Il luogo di installazione deve essere protetto dal gelo e facilmente accessibile.
· In caso di interruzione dell'alimentazione di rete durante il controlavaggio, le batterie (se montate) forniscono l'energia per la chiusura della valvola a sfera del controlavaggio. La carica della batteria deve essere controllata regolarmente. Al più tardi dopo due anni sostituire le batterie con batterie nuove

· Per evitare allagamenti, si consiglia di predisporre un attacco per le acque reflue permanente e in modo professionale

5 Messa in servizio

5.1 Scarico dell'acqua di circolazione inversa
1. Collegamento diretto realizzare la tubazione di scarico secondo EN 806-5.

ATTENZIONE! In ogni caso si deve osservare il diametro del raccordo di scarico, altrimenti il canale di scolo potrebbe traboccare.

Premendo il pulsante di azzera-mento, si può azzerare il contatore. Innesto manuale di un lavaggio in controcorrente Premere il pulsante di azzerramento durante 5 secondi. Lavaggio in controcorrente manuale durante una interruzione della corrente Spingere il corpo contro il rubinetto a sfera in direzione del filtro, trattenendo nello stesso tempo il rubinetto a sfera dal lato opposto e facendo girare il corpo di 90°. Dopo circa 15 secondi spingere il corpo di nuovo verso la sua posizione iniziale.

5.2 Setting of the Reverse Rinsing Interval
Come da EN 806-5, bisogna effettuare un lavaggio in controcorrente ogni 2 mesi. Gli intervalli dipendono dal grado d'inquinamento dell'acqua.

Indicazioni di servizio Premendo nello stesso tempo i pulsanti pro-gramma ed azzerramento (durante 5 sec.), lo schermo mostrerà il tempo che rimane fino al prossimo lavaggio in controcorrente mentre lo schermo indicherà l'unità di tempo attinente. (0=minuti, 1=ore, 2=giorni). Il collegamento della corrente dopo una interruzione inizia un lavaggio in controcorrente da sé. Il programma orario scelto nonché la posizione del contatore rimangano immutati.

6.3 Differential pressure switch La funzione di ,,lavaggio contro-corrente" si attiva, secondo occorrenza, ricorrendo al pressostato differenziale DDS76 dotato di microinterruttore a potenziale zero. Si consiglia di mantenere una regolazione di pressione differenziale di 1 bar. L'attivazione del sistema automatico di lavaggio controcorrente subentra soltanto quando sono stati disconnessi gli ingressi START e U+, ossia dopo la caduta della pressione differenziale aldi sotto del valore predefinito. Così si garantisce che una quantità massima di acqua resta a disposizione per il lavaggio a controcorrente. Nel caso si svolga il lavaggio contro-corrente, indipendentemente dalla durata del segnale della pressione differenziale, vanno, invece, attivati gli ingressi U+ e SIGN.
ATTENZIONE! Si possono impiegare i pressostati differenziali DDS76 connessi a Z11AS solo se vengono utilizzati i microfiltri F76 e F76S-F

Serviceindikator Dersom du trykker inn trykknapp og tilbakestillingsknappen (i

differensialtrykket har falt til under innstilt verdi. På denne måten er man sikret maksimal vannmengde under tilbakespyling. Dersom tilbakespylingen starter umiddelbart uavhengig av varigheten på differensialtrykksignalet, skal inngangssignalene i stedet kobles til ,,U+" og ,,SIGN".
VOORZICHTIG! DDS76 differensialtrykkbryter kan bare brukes der filtrene F76 / F76S-F også er montert.
