MOB Tag Pairing with Force ® Current Trolling Motor
- Ensure the trolling motor is powered on.
- Press and hold the power button on the side of the MOB Tag to turn it on. The indicator light on the MOB Tag will flash red.
- Press the power button (1) on the trolling motor three times. The LED indicator on the trolling motor will flash blue while the motor searches for a connection.
- Ensure the MOB Tag is within 1 m (3 ft) of the trolling motor.
- Quickly click the power button on the MOB Tag three times. The icon will flash blue while searching for a connection.
- When the connection is successful, the status LED on the trolling motor will turn solid green.

MOB Tag Battery Replacement
WARNING: Refer to the Important Safety and Product Information guide included in the product box for product warnings and other important information.
- Using a size #1 Phillips screwdriver, remove the four retaining screws and remove the back cover.
- Carefully lift the white tab to release the battery from the back cover.
- Insert the new battery into the back cover with the positive (+) side facing down.
- Check that the rubber seal on the front of the MOB Tag cover is not damaged and is properly seated in the groove. The seal can only be inserted into the groove in one orientation.
NOTICE: If the seal is not properly and fully seated in the groove, it will not create a seal, and water will damage the MOB Tag. To obtain a replacement seal, refer to the Outdoor Maintenance Guide at garmin.com/manuals/force_current_trolling_motor.
After replacing the battery, you may need to re-pair the MOB Tag.
