Product Overview
Vox Home WiFi Meshing with TP-Link Deco provides the simplest way to quickly and easily get good reliable WiFi signal into every corner of your home. Meshing was designed to optimise your wireless coverage in the least invasive and most power efficient manner. By stringing together a series of small, low-power and smart access points, Meshing ensures 100% wireless coverage in any home. The devices are remotely manageable via a mobile application and can provide a wealth of statistics and information on how the home network is being utilised, as well as powerful parental controls.
How It Works
The 'How It Works' diagram illustrates the concept of whole-home WiFi coverage. It depicts a multi-story house where a Vox WiFi Home Mesh system ensures connectivity. Whole home WiFi coverage: The TP-Link Deco meshing solution is the simplest way to guarantee a strong WiFi signal in every corner of your home. A standard 2-pack will cover up to 260 square metres. Wireless connections and optional Ethernet backhaul work together to link Deco units, providing even faster network speeds and seamless coverage. Simply add more Deco units to extend coverage.
Seamless roaming with one WiFi network name: Meshing means the units work together to form one unified network. Your phone or tablet automatically connects to the fastest unit as you move through your home, creating a truly seamless WiFi experience.
No more buffering: With Network speeds of 867Mbps on 5GHz and 300Mbps on 2.4GHz routers, thanks to 802.11ac wireless technology, Deco units are capable of providing a lag-free connection for up to 100 devices.
Robust parental controls: Simple and intuitive parental controls make it easy to keep children safe while they're online. Easily create a profile for each family member and set device limits, filters and online time allowances.
Easy Management: Manage your WiFi network from the palm of your hand with the Deco app. See all connected devices, prioritise certain devices, set up a guest network and more.
App-based setup: Installing Deco units are fast and easy. Just unpack the system, download the Deco app and follow its on-screen directions.
Note on performance: Range, coverage, and the maximum number of connected devices are based on test results under normal usage conditions. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and number of connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of 1) environmental factors, including building materials, physical objects, and obstacles, 2) network conditions, including local interference, volume and density of traffic, product location, network complexity, and network overhead, and 3) client limitations, including rated performance, location, connection quality, and client condition.
