To ensure your safety, make sure the mains power is switched OFF before accessing wiring. 1.1 Install the Thermostat 1.2-1.5m 1.2 Thermostat Installation Remove the mounting plate from the thermostat. 1 Loosen the screw holding the mounting plate to the thermostat. 2 Lift the lower part of the plate to remove it fromthe thermostat. 3 Loosen the screw holding the wire cover, and remove it. 4 Secure the mounting plate to the wall and make the appropriate connection (refer to section 2). 1 2 3 4 1.3 Wiring Connection to a circulator DT135 Connection to a boiler DT135 2 Thermostat Configuration Before installing the thermostat on the wall, it must be configured using the dip switches at the back. 2.1 2.2 15 or 20 minute Cycles The thermostat can operate on 15 or 20 minute cycles. While 15-minute cycles provide greater comfort, the heating system will be running more often. Temperature Contol Modes You can choose between two temperature control modes: 3 Battery Installation *The thermostat displays the percentage of heating required to maintain the desired temperature. For example, is displayed when heating is activated at 40 percent. After the tests, the screen should display the current temperature. 6 Connection to Telephone Controller or a Home Automation System s The thermostat incorporates a telephone controller or home automation interface which allows you to switch from the R or etting to the Vacation setting ( ), and vice versa. This mode guarantees optimal regulation of 3 cycles (switch #1 to 20 min.) or 4 cycles (switch #1 to 15 min.) per hour, regardless of the season. Ideal for: · Radiant or convection electrical heating system · Circulator control in a hot water system Conventional Mode with Anticipation This mode turns the system On or Off when the temperature reaches preset levels. This mode is compatible with all heating systems. It is recommended for a multi-zone system or when a thermostat directly controls a furnace equipped with a combustion gas purge cycle of more than 30 seconds. 2.3 2.4 Pump Protection For hot water installations, it is recommended to activate the pump at least one minute every 24 hours in order to avoid seizure. Place switch #3 down to activate this function. For all other installations, leave switch #3 in the Off position (otherwise your system will be activated 1 minute every 24 hours). Temperature in °C or °F The thermostat is factory-set to °C. If you wish to change the temperature display to °F, slide switch #4 upward. Please note that if you change from °C to °F or vice versa, you must reset the Comfort (R), Economy () and Vacation ( ) settings accordingly. 4 Battery Replacement The thermostat will display an icon indicating that the batteries must be replaced. This icon will flash for 60 days. After this period, the thermostat will shut down your heating unit. Konventionelle Betriebsart mit Vorausschätzung Proportionale adaptive Temperaturregelung In dieser Betriebsart werden zur Festlegung des nächsten Zyklus frühere Zyklen analysiert. Diese Betriebsart garantiert die optimale Regelung von 3 Zyklen (Schalter Nr. 1 bis 20 Min.) oder 4 Zyklen (Schalter Nr. 1 bis 15 Min.) pro Stunde, unabhängig von der Jahreszeit. Ideal für: · Elektrische Strahlungs- oder Konvektorheizungen · Zirkulationssteuerung in einem Warmwassersystem Konventionelle Betriebsart mit Vorausschätzung In dieser Betriebsart schaltet sich das System ein bzw. aus, wenn die voreingestellten Temperaturwerte erreicht werden. Diese Betriebsart ist mit allen Heizsystemen kompatibel. Sie wird für ein Mehrzonensystem empfohlen oder wenn ein Thermostat einen Heizkessel mit einem Verbrennungsgas-Spülzyklus von mehr als 30 Sekunden direkt steuert. 2.3 Pumpenschutz Bei Warmwasseranlagen wird empfohlen, die Pumpe alle 24 Stunden mindestens eine Minute lang zu aktivieren, um ein Festsetzen zu verhindern. Stellen Sie den Schalter Nr. 3 nach unten, um diese Funktion zu aktivieren. Coupez l'alimentation du système de chauffage afin d'éviter tout risque de choc électrique. 1.1 Installation du thermostat 1.2-1.5m 1.2 Installation du thermostat Séparer d'abord la plaque de montage du thermostat. 1 Dévisser la vis qui retient la plaque de montage au thermostat. 2 Séparer la plaque et le thermostat en soulevant le bas. 3 Dévisser la vis qui retient le couvercle des fils à la plaque murale, et l'enlever. 4 Fixer la plaque murale au mur et faites le branchement approprié (voir la section 2). 1 2 3 4 1.3 Branchement des fils Branchement à un circulateur DT135 Branchement à une chaudière DT135 2 Configuration du thermostat Avant d'installer le thermostat au mur, vous devez le configurer à l'aide du groupe d'interrupteurs situés à l'arrière. 2.1 2.2 Cycles de 15 ou 20 minutes Le thermostat vous offre la possibilité d'avoir des cycles de chauffage de 15 ou 20 minutes. Plus courts sont les cycles, plus grand sera votre confort. Par contre, votre système sera sollicité plus souvent. Types de régulation Le thermostat vous donne le choix entre 2 modes de régulation : Mode proportionnel adaptatif Ce mode analyse les cycles antérieurs pour définir le temps de fonctionnement du cycle à venir. Ce mode garantit une régulation optimale de 3 cycles (interrupteur nº1 à 20 min.) ou 4 cycles (interrupteur nº1 à 15 min.) par heure, quelle que soit la saison. Idéal pour: · Chauffage électrique radiant ou par convection · Contrôle du circulateur dans un système à eau chaude Mode conventionnel avec anticipation Ce mode commande la mise en marche ou l'arrêt du système lorsque la température lue par le thermostat atteint des niveaux prédéterminés. Ce mode est compatible avec tous les systèmes de chauffage et est recommandé dans un système multi-zones ou dans le cas où le thermostat contrôle directement une chaudière munie d'un cycle de purge des gaz de combustion qui dépasse 30 secondes. 2.3 Protection de la pompe Pour les installations à l'eau chaude, il est recommandé de faire fonctionner la pompe au moins 1 minute toutes les 24 heures afin d'éviter le grippage de celle-ci. Pour activer cette fonction, placer l'interrupteur nº3 vers le bas. Pour tous les autres types d'installations, laisser l'interrupteur nº3 à Off (sinon, votre système sera activé 1 minute toutes les 24 heures). 2.4 Température en °C ou °F Le TH135 a été initialement configuré en °C. Si vous désirez changer la température en °F,placez l'interrupteur nº4 vers le haut. Si vous changez les °C en °F, ou vice versa, vous devez reprogrammer vos consignes Confort(R), Économie () et Vacances ( ). 3 Installation des piles *Le thermostat affiche le pourcentage d'utilisation du chauffage requis pour maintenir la température désirée. Par exemple, s'affiche lorsque le chauffage est activé 40 pourcent du temps. Cycli van 15 minuten bieden meer comfort, maar dan moet het verwarmingssysteem vaker draaien. De modus wordt aanbevolen voor een systeem met meerdere zones, of wanneer een thermostaat rechtstreeks een verwarmingsketel regelt die is uitgerust met een doorblaascyclus voor verbrandingsgas van meer dan 30 seconden. 2.3 Pompbeveiliging Bij warmwaterinstallaties wordt het aanbevolen om de pomp minstens 1 minuut per 24 uur te activeren om vastlopen te voorkomen. Shuif schakelaar 3 omlaag om deze functie te activeren. Laat schakelaar 3 bij alle andere installaties in de positie Uit staan (anders wordt uw systeem elke 24 uur 1 minuut geactiveerd). 2.4 Temperatuur in °C of °F De thermostaat staat volgens fabrieksinstellingen op °C. Als u de temperatuurweergave wilt veranderen in °F, schuift u schakelaar 4 omhoog.
