Connecting to a Computer with HDMI
Use an HDMI cable with the HDMI logo. Allow time for the signal to appear. Some display cards may not show an image correctly. If the monitor power is on after the computer is on, try turning the computer off and on again.
Connecting to a Computer with DisplayPort
Use a certified DisplayPort cable. Allow time for the signal to appear. Some DisplayPort cables have a locking function; press the top button to release.
Note: If the monitor power is on after the computer is on, try turning the computer off and on again.
Connecting to a Computer with USB Type-C
Use a SuperSpeed USB cable for video/audio transmission. Ensure the computer port supports DP Alt Mode. HDMI Alt Mode or MHL is not supported. For power delivery, use a computer and cable that support USB Power Delivery.
It may take a few seconds for the monitor to recognize the USB signal. Do not disconnect or reconnect the USB cable while the signal is being recognized.
Recovering from no image
- Turn off the computer.
- Turn off the monitor by pressing the center of the 5-direction key for 3 or more seconds.
- Turn on the monitor by pressing the center of the key again.
- When the USB Functionality message appears, select [Auto] or [On].

Chapter 3: Troubleshooting
This chapter provides solutions for common issues.
Screen Image and Video Signal Issues
- No picture: Ensure signal cables are connected, no DisplayPort converter adapters are used, the display card is seated correctly, and both computer and monitor are powered on. Verify supported resolution and signal timings. Check for bent pins. The monitor may be in power saving mode. Ensure the connected device outputs a signal. For USB-C, verify DisplayPort Alt Mode and SuperSpeed USB compliance.
- Image Persistence: If a ghost or residual image occurs, refer to Image Persistence on page 9.
- The image is unstable, unfocused or swimming is apparent: Ensure signal cables are connected and check compatibility with recommended signal timings.
- Picture is not bright: Ensure [ECO MODE] is [Off] and signal cables are connected. LCD brightness degradation may occur with long-term use or extreme cold. If brightness fluctuates, set [DV MODE] to [Off].
- Selected resolution is not displayed properly: If the resolution is out of range, an "Out Of Range" window will appear. Set a supported resolution on the computer.
- Brightness variations over time: Change [DV MODE] to [Off] and adjust brightness. When [DV MODE] is set to [On], brightness adjusts automatically based on the video signal.
Hardware Issues
- Key does not respond: Unplug and replug the monitor's power cord.
- LED on monitor is not lit: Ensure the power cord is properly connected and the monitor's power switch is on.
- No Video: Turn the power button off and on again. Ensure the computer is not in power-saving mode. For DisplayPort, check resolution modes. Ensure [USB Functionality] is set to [Auto] or [On].
- No Sound: Check [Audio Mute] and [Audio Volume] settings. Verify computer supports audio via DisplayPort, HDMI, or USB-C. Ensure headphones are properly connected if used.
- The USB Hub does not operate: Check USB cable connections. Ensure the upstream port is connected to the computer's downstream port and the computer is ON. Check USB-C cable connection and [USB Functionality] settings. Turn the power switch off and on again.
- No picture (after USB-C connection): Ensure [USB Functionality] is set to [Auto] or [On]. Check USB-C device and cable compliance with DisplayPort Alt Mode and SuperSpeed USB.
- Charging is not started or unstable: Ensure [USB Functionality] is set to [On]. Check USB-C device and cable compliance with USB Power Delivery. Remove the USB-C cable if excessive voltage or current is detected.
- LAN port does not work: Use a compatible LAN cable for 1000 Mbps communication. Ensure a computer is connected via USB-C. Check the LAN port LED status. Ensure [USB Functionality] is set to [Auto] or [On] and [USB LAN] is set to [On]. Make sure the driver is installed.
