The instrument panel contains various controls and indicators for operating your vehicle.

Instrument Panel Cluster
Your vehicle's instrument panel cluster displays critical information about your vehicle's operation.

IMPORTANT: The instrument panel cluster is designed to inform you about many important aspects of your vehicle's operation. It is important to read your Owner Manual and become familiar with the information conveyed by the lights, gauges, and indicators, as well as what actions to take to ensure safety and prevent damage.

Memory Driver's Seat and Outside Rearview Mirrors (if equipped)
Your vehicle may feature a two-driver memory function to program and recall settings for the driver's seat and outside mirror positions. The Driver Information Center (DIC) can also be programmed for additional personalization.
To program the driver's seat and mirror positions:
- Adjust the driver's seat and both outside rearview mirrors to your desired positions.
- Press and hold button 1 on the driver's door panel for three seconds until a beep confirms the position is stored.
- For a second driver, repeat the procedure using button 2.
To recall the driver's seat and mirror positions:
- With the vehicle in Park (?️), press and release button 1 or 2. The stored memory positions for the seat and mirrors will be recalled.
- To stop memory feature movement at any time, press any power seat control or memory button.
Remote Keyless Entry/Ignition Key Recall
If programmed via the DIC, the unlock button on the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter can recall memory seat and/or DIC personalization settings. The numbers 1 or 2 on the back of the transmitter correspond to the memory control numbers on the driver's door panel.
Set and Recall Driver's Seat Exit Position
- Identify the driver number (1 or 2) by pressing the unlock button ? on the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter or noting the number on the driver door panel corresponding to your transmitter.
- Adjust the driver's seat to the desired exit position.
- Press and hold the EXIT ? button on the driver door panel until a beep confirms the exit position is stored.
- For a second driver, identify Driver 2 and repeat the procedure.
- To recall the exit position, press the EXIT ? button on the driver door panel when the vehicle's gear selector is in Park (?️).
Seat recall movement can be stopped at any time by pressing a power seat control.

Remote Keyless Entry and Content Theft-Deterrent Systems
On equipped vehicles, use your Remote Keyless Entry transmitter for the following functions:
- Unlock doors: Press the Unlock button ? once for the driver door, twice for both doors.
- Lock doors and arm Content Theft-Deterrent System: Press the Lock button ? once to lock all doors and arm the system.
The exterior lamps may flash once and the horn may chirp if the Driver Information Center personalization feature is programmed for security feedback.
- Unlock trunk lid: Press the Trunk Lid Release button ? or use the button in the glove box.
- Sound remote alarm: Press the button with the horn symbol ? to honk the horn and blink headlamps/taillamps.
The Content Theft-Deterrent System arms only if you use the key fob or a power lock switch. It will not arm if you lock the door with a key or manual lock. To disarm, press the Unlock button ? on the key fob or unlock any door with the key.
The key fob transmitter's range is 3 to 30 feet. If it doesn't work or range is reduced, check:
- Distance: You may be too far away.
- Location: Other vehicles or objects may be blocking the signal.
- Battery: Check the transmitter's battery.
- Match: Ensure the transmitter matches the vehicle (see Owner Manual, Section 2).
Driver 1 and 2 Memory Settings
The number on the back of the transmitter (1 or 2) corresponds to the memory buttons on the driver's door panel. Unlocking the vehicle with the transmitter recalls personalized settings for that specific driver (if enabled in the DIC).

Driver Information Center (DIC) (if equipped)
On equipped vehicles, the DIC buttons are located on the control panel to the right of the instrument cluster.
- E/M (English/Metric): Switches the display between English and Metric units ????.
- TRIP RESET: Use this button to reset your trip odometer ?.
- MODE: Allows toggling through DIC modes: Vehicle Data, Personalization Programming, Compass Calibration.
- SELECT: Allows selection of a DIC mode.
- RESET: Used with other DIC features to reset system functions.
The DIC provides information on your vehicle's:
- Average Fuel Economy
- Instantaneous Fuel Economy
- Fuel Range
- Fuel Used
- Battery Volts
- GM Oil Life System
- Tire Pressure Status ?
Resetting Vehicle Data
To reset vehicle data, press the DIC MODE button until VEHICLE DATA is displayed. Then, press SELECT repeatedly until the desired data appears.
- Average Fuel Economy: Press and hold RESET for about five seconds.
- Fuel Used: Press and hold RESET for about five seconds.
- Oil Life: Press and hold RESET for about five seconds until OIL LIFE 100% is displayed. If "ENGINE OIL CHANGE SOON" appears after restarting, the system did not reset. Repeat if necessary.
- Tire Pressure Status ?: This system alerts you to low or flat tires while the vehicle is in motion. After correcting a tire condition and ensuring proper inflation, press SELECT to display TIRE PRESSURE. Press and hold RESET for about five seconds until "TIRE PRESSURE RESET" appears. The display should read "TIRE PRESSURE NORMAL."

Personalizing Vehicle Features
To program personalization features using the DIC buttons (if equipped):
- Identify yourself as Driver 1 or 2 by pressing the memory button on the driver door panel or the unlock button ? on your Remote Keyless Entry transmitter.
- Turn the ignition to ON ? and keep the gear selector in Park (?️).
- Press the MODE button to reach the personalization programming display.
- Press SELECT to enter the personalization programming mode.
- Choose DRIVER ID 1 or 2 by pressing RESET. When the desired ID is displayed, press SELECT to choose it and move to the next feature.
Each programmable feature will appear on the display. After a selection, the DIC moves to the next feature.

Security Feedback
On equipped vehicles, DIC selections customize transmitter-activated feedback when locking/unlocking your vehicle:
- KEYLESS FEEDBACK — OFF/ON ?
- LIGHTS FEEDBACK — OFF/ON ?
- HORN FEEDBACK — OFF/ON ?
Enter personalization programming mode and stop at the KEYLESS FEEDBACK menu item.
- If KEYLESS FEEDBACK is ON, you must also choose LIGHTS and/or HORN FEEDBACK.
- If KEYLESS FEEDBACK is OFF, there is no feedback from lights or horn when locking/unlocking.
- If KEYLESS and LIGHTS FEEDBACK are ON: Exterior lamps flash twice when unlocking, once when locking. ✨
- If KEYLESS and HORN FEEDBACK are ON: The horn chirps when locking/unlocking. ?
- If KEYLESS, LIGHTS, and HORN FEEDBACK are ON: Exterior lamps flash twice on first unlock press. On second unlock press, lamps flash twice and horn chirps once. On Lock button press, lamps flash once and horn chirps.

Programmable Automatic Door Locks
Your vehicle's power door locks can be programmed to your preferences using the DIC (if equipped).
Enter personalization programming mode (as described in "Personalizing Vehicle Features") and choose from the following locking/unlocking options:
- When AUTO DOOR LOCKS — OFF/ON is displayed, toggle between OFF and ON by pressing RESET. If automatic locking is not desired, toggle to OFF and press SELECT to save and advance.
- When UNLOCK — OFF/ON is displayed, you can disable automatic unlocking by keeping the selection OFF. If ON, you can further program the DIC to unlock doors as follows:
- With AUTO DOOR LOCKS ON, UNLOCK ON, and KEY OFF: Doors lock every time you shift out of Park (?️) and unlock every time you stop and turn the ignition to OFF.
- With AUTO DOOR LOCKS ON, UNLOCK ON, and Park: Doors lock every time you shift out of Park (?️) and unlock every time you stop and shift into Park (?️).
- With AUTO DOOR LOCKS ON and UNLOCK OFF: Doors lock every time you shift out of Park (?️), with no automatic unlocking when placed in Park (?️).
- With UNLOCK ON and DRIVER for DOOR TO UNLOCK: Only the driver door unlocks automatically when shifting into Park (?️) or turning the key to OFF. ??
- With UNLOCK ON and ALL for DOOR TO UNLOCK: All doors unlock automatically when shifting into Park (?️) or turning the key to OFF. ??
Choose the desired mode by pressing RESET until it is displayed, then press SELECT to store.

Programming Locks with the Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter
- Keep doors closed, shift lever in Park (?️), and ignition key in the ON position.
- Press and hold the driver's door power lock switch in the LOCK position through Step 4.
- Press the lock button ? on the Remote Keyless Entry transmitter (automatic locks remain in current mode).
- Press the lock button ? on the transmitter again. The door locks will cycle up and down to indicate the current mode (e.g., three cycles for Mode 3; Mode 0 has no feedback).
- Release the power door lock switch when the desired mode is reached. The automatic locks will retain the selected mode.
This procedure programs only the transmitter used. Repeat for other transmitters and drivers.
Door Locking/Unlocking Modes:
- MODE 0 (OFF): No automatic door locking/unlocking.
- MODE 1: All doors automatically lock when the shift lever moves out of Park (?️). No automatic unlock.
- MODE 2: All doors automatically lock when the shift lever moves out of Park (?️). Only the driver door automatically unlocks when shifted into Park (?️). ??
- MODE 3: All doors automatically lock when the shift lever moves out of Park (?️). All doors automatically unlock when shifted into Park (?️). ??
- MODE 4: All doors automatically lock when the shift lever moves out of Park (?️). Only the driver door automatically unlocks when the key is turned to OFF (DIC-equipped vehicles only). ??
- MODE 5: All doors automatically lock when the shift lever moves out of Park (?️). All doors automatically unlock when the key is turned to OFF (DIC-equipped vehicles only). ??

Systems Monitor Buttons (if equipped)
On equipped vehicles, the Systems Monitor buttons are located on the control panel to the right of the instrument cluster.
- E/M (English/Metric): Switches the display between English and Metric units ????.
- TRIP RESET: Allows you to reset your trip odometer ? by pressing the TRIP RESET button.
- TIRE PRESS RESET ?: The tire pressure system detects differences in tire rotation speeds caused by pressure changes and alerts you to a low or flat tire only while the vehicle is in motion. After correcting a condition and ensuring all tires are at the correct inflation level, reset the system. This calibrates the system.
To reset with the Systems Monitor:
- Turn the ignition switch to ON ?.
- Press and hold the TIRE PRESS RESET ?? button for about five seconds, until the TIRE PRESS light on the Systems Monitor begins to flash.
- Release the button; the system resets when the TIRE PRESS light goes out.
Calibration continues during the first 45 to 90 minutes of driving.

Climate Control Systems
Manual Climate Control System

- Fan Speed: Turn the fan knob (A) clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease fan speed. Push to turn the fan on and off. ?️
- Temperature Control: Turn the temperature control knob (B) clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease temperature. ?️
- Air Conditioning: Press the Air Conditioning button (C) to turn the A/C on or off. ❄️
- Rear Defog: Press the Rear Defogger button (D) to turn the rear window defogger on or off. Heated outside rearview mirrors (if equipped) activate as well. ♨️
Air Distribution Modes
- (Floor): Directs most air to floor outlets, some to outboard outlets (side windows) and windshield. (Recirculation feature will not work.)
- (Panel/Floor): Directs half airflow to instrument panel outlets, rest to floor outlets. Small amount to windshield and outboard outlets.
- (Panel): Directs air to instrument panel outlets.
- (Recirculation): Prevents outside air from entering. Cannot be used with FRONT defrost mode. ♻️
- (Windshield/Floor): Directs most air to windshield and floor outlets, small amount to side window outlets. (Recirculation feature will not work.)
- (Windshield/Side Window): Directs most air to windshield and side window outlets, some to floor outlets. (Recirculation feature will not work.)
Automatic Climate Control System

- Automatic Operation: Press the AUTO button (A) for automatic control of inside temperature, air delivery mode, and fan speed. ☀️
- Driver's Side Temperature: Turn the driver's side temperature knob (B) to set air temperature for the driver's side. Push knob to turn system on/off. Turn clockwise/counterclockwise to heat/cool. When passenger temperature is not active, this knob controls both sides (DRIVER and PASS displayed). ?️
- Passenger's Side Temperature: Turn the passenger's side temperature knob (C) to set air temperature for the passenger's side. Push knob to turn system on/off. Turn clockwise/counterclockwise to heat/cool. When adjusted, only PASS is displayed. ?️
- Recirculation: Press the Recirculation button (D) to limit outside air. Can prevent outside air/odors or help heat/cool faster. Indicator light illuminates when active. Cannot be used with FRONT defrost mode. ♻️
- Fan: Press the Fan button (E) to display and hold current fan speed in manual mode. Press HIGH to increase, LOW to decrease. ?️
- MODE: Press the MODE button (F) repeatedly to cycle through and choose air delivery mode. The system stays in the selected mode until MODE is pressed again or AUTO is pressed. ⚙️

Audio Systems
AM/FM Stereo with Compact Disc Player

- Setting the clock: Press and hold HR or MIN for two seconds. Then press and hold HR for the hour (AM/PM appears). Hold MN for minutes. To set time via FM station RDS, press and hold both HR and MN until "UPDATED" and clock symbol ⏰ appear. If unavailable, "NO UPDATE" appears.
- PWR (Power): Press to turn the system on or off. ?
- VOL (Volume): Turn to increase or decrease volume. ?
- SCV (Speed-Compensated Volume): Automatically adjusts volume based on vehicle speed. Select MIN, MED, or MAX. Higher settings provide more compensation. Disable by selecting OFF. ??
Radio Controls
- RCL (Recall): Switches display between radio station frequency and time. Push RCL knob until desired display appears, then hold until display flashes. ↩️
- TONE: Push and release to select BASS, MID, or TREB. Use SELECT knob to adjust. Hold TONE until FLAT appears to set all to middle. ?
Setting Stations
Six numbered pushbuttons allow programming up to 30 stations (six each for AM, FM1, FM2, XM1, XM2). XM Satellite Radio requires a subscription.
To program presets:
- Turn radio on and press BAND to select AM, FM1/FM2, or XM1/XM2.
- Tune to the desired station.
- Press EQ to select equalization.
- Press and hold one of the six numbered buttons until a beep sounds.
- Repeat for each numbered preset. ⭐
Radio Data System (RDS)
Your RDS-equipped radio can:
- Seek stations with preferred program types (Jazz, Rock, News, etc.).
- Seek stations with traffic announcements. ?
- Receive announcements concerning local and national emergencies. ?
- Receive and display messages from radio stations. ℹ️
RDS features work on FM stations broadcasting RDS information. RDS stations display their name instead of frequency. They often provide time and Program Type (PTY).
- ALERT!: Warns of local or national emergencies. Heard even if volume is muted or CD is playing. Cannot be turned off.
- TRAF (Traffic): Activates traffic announcement feature. "TRAF" appears if the station broadcasts traffic. If not, radio seeks a station that does. "NO TRAFFIC" appears if none found. Heard even if volume is muted or CD is playing.
- INFO (Information): If the current station has a message, "INFO" appears. Press to see the message.
- PROG TYPE (PTY): Activates program type select mode. Press PTY symbol, use SELECT knob to choose a PTY. Press SEEK arrow to select PTY and go to its first station. To go to another station within the PTY, press SEEK arrow once. If PTY is not displayed, press SEEK arrow twice to display PTY and go to another station. Press PROG TYPE to exit. If PTY and TRAF are on, radio searches for both. ?
Trunk-Mounted CD Changer (if equipped)
The optional CD changer plays up to 12 CDs.
To load CDs:
- Slide the changer door left and remove the magazine (it ejects).
- Slide the button on top of the magazine, pull a tray, and load CDs with labels facing up.
- Gently push each tray back into the magazine until locked.
- Push the magazine into the changer following the arrow.
- Close the changer door by sliding it right. ?
Audio Steering Wheel Controls (if equipped)
On equipped vehicles, control some radio functions using steering wheel buttons. Consult your Owner Manual.

Cruise Control
Use Cruise Control for steady driving on relatively straight, uncrowded roads. Controls are on the Turn Signal/Multifunction Lever on the left side of the steering column.
To set the system:
- Move the OFF-ON-R/A switch to ON.
- Accelerate to the desired speed.
- Press the SET button on the end of the lever.
- Remove foot from the accelerator pedal.
The system maintains a steady speed of 25 mph (40 km/h) or faster without accelerator input.
To turn off Cruise Control, apply brakes or move the Cruise Control switch to OFF.

Accessory Power Outlet and Cigarette Lighter
Your vehicle is equipped with an accessory power outlet that can power various accessories.
If your vehicle has a front or floor console, the outlet is located at the rear of the unit. To use, remove the protective cap and plug in the accessory. Replace the cap when not in use.
Cigarette Lighter: Located next to the front storage tray. It operates at all times, regardless of ignition position. ?

HomeLink® Transmitter
This programmable transmitter can store up to three frequencies for remotely operated items.
Programming the Transmitter
With the ignition OFF ?, program the transmitter as follows:
- Press and hold the two outside buttons until the indicator light flashes (about 20 seconds, do not exceed 30 seconds). Release buttons. Do not repeat this step for additional devices.
- Hold your hand-held transmitter near the HomeLink® transmitter. Then hold the button on the hand-held unit and the button on the HomeLink® transmitter you wish to assign.
- Continue holding both buttons (up to 90 seconds). The indicator light will blink slowly, then more quickly. Programming is complete when the HomeLink® transmitter light flashes rapidly.
- Release both buttons, then press and hold the HomeLink® button again. If the indicator light remains lit, programming is complete.
To program the remaining two HomeLink® buttons, begin with Step 2. Do not repeat Step 1, as this erases all programmed channels.
Note: If the HomeLink® indicator light blinks rapidly for two seconds and remains on, your device (e.g., garage door opener) has a "rolling code." See your Owner Manual.

If your vehicle is OnStar-equipped, the system provides in-vehicle safety, security, and communications services, available 24/7. Access services via the three OnStar buttons:
- Blue OnStar Button: Connects to an OnStar Advisor for services like GM Goodwrench Remote Diagnostics or routing and location assistance.* ?⭐
- Phone Button: Accesses OnStar Personal Calling, a hands-free, voice-activated communications service.** ?
- Red Emergency Button: Connects to an OnStar Advisor who can dispatch emergency services (ambulance, police, fire) to your location. ??
*Routing and location assistance may require service upgrade. **Available in most markets.
