Connect the Cable
Connect the device's coaxial cable connector to a cable outlet in your home.
Connect the Power Adapter
Connect the included power adapter from the POWER port to a wall outlet.
Initial Configuration
To complete the initial setup, your CODA will launch the Easy Connect user interface on the first connected device. You can access this via an Ethernet cable connected to a laptop or any mobile device connected to the default Wi-Fi network. The default Wi-Fi network name and key are usually found on the back label of your CODA device.
Ethernet Method: Connect your computer to one of the LAN ports using an Ethernet cable.
Wi-Fi Method: Connect to the default Wi-Fi network using the credentials on the device label.
User Configuration
For initial setup, click "LET'S GO" to test your connection and enter your preferred SSID and Passphrase. The Wi-Fi Passphrase will also serve as your password for future access to the configuration interface (typically at 192.168.0.1) with the username "cusadmin". Complete the Easy Connect walkthrough to avoid repetitive prompts. If the CODA is reset, Easy Connect will reappear.
Wireless Devices (Optional)
Connect your wireless devices using the SSID and Passphrase chosen in Step 5. For WPS connections, access the GUI, enable WPS on the Wireless page, set Encrypt Mode to AES, save changes, and then press the WPS button on both the CODA and the device to connect within 2 minutes.
Connect a Telephone Device (Optional)
Connect any LINE port to a telephone if you have ordered telephone service.
Setup Complete / Troubleshooting
If your CODA is connected but you cannot access the internet, ensure your device's IP address is set to obtain automatically or is within the range 192.168.100.10~192.168.100.254.
