Recording Settings

  1. Recording library: Recordings are named as time-stamped. The latest saved recording is located at the bottom of the recording library.
  2. Recording Format: WAV format in Bit Rate 512kbps, 1024kbps, 1536kbps.
  3. Record from:
    • MIC in: The recording effect from the built-in microphone is not optimal due to its low output power. An external amplification device is necessary to amplify the audio signal.
    • Line in: Line-in recording allows direct recording of MP3 format files from other music players like mobile phones, cassette players, and CD players. It is best suited for full mixes and loud signals.
  4. Recording gain: Level 1 to level 5 are optional. Increasing the recording gain increases the microphone's sensitivity but also records more noise.
  5. Recording light switch: If you want to record without attracting attention, it is recommended to turn off the recording light.
  6. AVR mode: Turn on AVR Mode and press the REC button. The voice recorder will start recording automatically (a green icon appears when recording in AVR mode) if the sound reaches a certain standard, and pause when the sound is lower than the standard.
  7. Recording Monitor: When recording audio, turn on this function to hear what is being recorded. If you do not monitor your sound while recording, you will not know the audio quality until you play it back. Note: The Recording Monitor and AVR Mode cannot be active at the same time.
  8. Recording Subsection: When recording, the device can automatically segment the recording content by time: 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, and 120 minutes, saving each segment independently. This feature helps manage recording files more easily, preventing difficulty in finding specific parts of long recordings.
  9. Timed Recording: Timed recording allows you to record your voice periodically. You can set the start and end times to begin recording at regular intervals. Two timed recording cycles are available: Single, Everyday.

Folder

You can check all the folders saved in this voice recorder. Folders are displayed according to the time they were saved. The earliest saved folder appears first, and the latest saved folder is at the bottom.

Music

The Music menu includes Last played, All songs, Artists, Albums, Genres, Playlists, and Refresh playlists. Music files are sorted according to ASCII encoding rules. The device automatically extracts ID3 tags from music files and sorts them into Artists, Albums, and Genres folders.

Playlists

There are 3 default playlists that cannot be renamed or deleted. You also cannot create new playlists.
