OC 9113 KIT EMPORTE-PIECES CAPTEURS DE STATIONNEMENT FORD C-MAX CUSTOM (4 PCS) DESCRIPTION Le jeu d'outils décrit dans cette notice permet de percer des orifices propres et sans bavures dans les pare-chocs en plastique des véhicules Ford. Cela est nécessaire lorsque le pare-chocs de rechange fourni par le constructeur est livré sans orifices pour le montage des capteurs de stationnement (par exemple en cas de réparation après un accident). Selon les instructions du constructeur, les orifices ne doivent être percés qu'une fois que le pare-chocs a été peint en vue de garantir une forme le plus fidèle possible à l'original même après la réparation. Le jeu d'outils représente une sélection des outils de poinçonnage les plus courants pour les capteurs PDC (contrôle de la distance de stationnement) de Ford. Les codes OEM indiqués servent uniquement pour la classification des données techniques et des applications! MODE D'EMPLOI Faire toujours attention aux spécifications et aux instructions de réparation du constructeur du véhicule! · La position des capteurs est généralement indiquée par des repères à l'intérieur du pare-chocs. (Fig. 1) Il est également possible que les composants du jeu d'adaptation aient un profil adapté au véhicule ou au pare-chocs. · Utiliser le foret de Ø 18 mm pour percer un orifice pour chaque repère. Positionner le foret exactement au centre de la marque et percer de l'intérieur vers l'extérieur. (Fig. 2) 1 2 OC 9113 KIT EMPORTE-PIECES CAPTEURS DE STATIONNEMENT FORD C-MAX CUSTOM (4 PCS) · Sélectionner la poinçonneuse correspondant à la figure sur le pare-chocs. Insérer maintenant la poinçonneuse depuis l'intérieur du pare-chocs dans l'orifice Ø18mm. Orienter la poinçonneuse en fonction de la figure (repère) sur le pare-chocs. (Fig. 3) · La matrice est maintenant positionnée sur le pare-chocs de la manière suivante. Positionner la matrice correspondante sur la tige du poinçon de telle sorte que la broche de guidage (vis sans tête sur la matrice) soit exactement dans la rainure de guidage de la tige du poinçon. La matrice doit maintenant adhérer à l'extérieur du pare-chocs. Conseil: pour protéger le pare-chocs, il est possible d'appliquer au préalable du ruban adhésif sur la surface peinte. (Fig. 4+5). 3 4 · A ce point, l'unité d'actionnement avec le filetage est d'abord insérée dans la prise de la matrice, puis vissée manuellement (Fig. 6). Attention: lavant de commencer le poinçonnage, s'assurer que le repère est orienté exactement de la façon indiquée sur la figure à l'intérieur du pare-chocs. 5 6 OC 9113 KIT EMPORTE-PIECES CAPTEURS DE STATIONNEMENT FORD C-MAX CUSTOM (4 PCS) · Pour le poinçonnage, connecter la clé à cliquet de 3/8" fournie avec le jeu d'outils. En agissant sur la clé à cliquet, l'orifice est maintenant poinçonné. (Fig. 7) Le résultat est un orifice sur mesure pour le support capteur/spécifique. OC 9113 REAR PARKING SENSOR PUNCH TOOL KIT FORD C-MAX CUSTOM (4 PCS) DESCRIPTION The tool set described in this manual is used to make clean holes in plastic bumpers without burrs. This is necessary when the replacement bumper supplied by the manufacturer does not have the holes for mounting the parking sensors. According to some manufacturers' repair instructions, holes should be drilled only after painting to guarantee, once repaired, an appearance as close to the original as possible. Furthermore, the centering pins contained in the tool set ensure the correct fixing and alignment of the sensor supports during fastening (welding/gluing). The OEM numbers shown are used only for assigning technical data and fields of use! INSTRUCTIONS Always pay attention to the repair specifications and instructions provided by the car manufacturer! · The sensors' position is usually indicated by the manufacturing marks found on the inside of the bumper. (Fig. 1) There may also be a template suitable for the car or bumper among the components of the adjustment tool set. · Drill a hole for each mark using the Ø18 mm drill bit. Place the drill bit exactly in the center of the mark and drill from the inside to the outside. (Fig. 2) 1 2 OC 9113 REAR PARKING SENSOR PUNCH TOOL KIT FORD C-MAX CUSTOM (4 PCS) · Choose the punching machine that matches the mark on the bumper. Insert the punching machine into the Ø18 mm hole from inside the bumper. Orient the punching machine according to the mark on the bumper. (Fig. 3) · Now place the matrix on the bumper as follows: position the corresponding matrix on the punch's shank so that the guide pin (grub screw on the matrix) fits exactly inside the guide groove on the punch's shank. The matrix should now adhere to the outside of the bumper. Tip: in order to protect the bumper, you can first apply some adhesive tape on the painted surface. (Fig. 4+5) 3 4 · At this point the drive unit with the thread is first inserted into the matrix' coupling and then screwed by hand. (Fig. 6) Warning: before starting the punching operation, make sure that the mark is oriented exactly as shown in the figure on the inside of the bumper. 5 6 OC 9113 REAR PARKING SENSOR PUNCH TOOL KIT FORD C-MAX CUSTOM (4 PCS) · To perform the punching, connect the 3/8" ratchet wrench provided in the tool set. Act on the ratchet wrench to punch the hole (Fig. 7), which will result in a custom hole for the specific sensor support.
