Important Safeguards

- Do not place on or near hot gas/electric burners or in heated ovens. Use extreme caution with appliances containing hot liquids.
- To disconnect, turn controls to "off" and remove the plug from the outlet.
- Use only for the intended purpose.
- Save these instructions.
- Do not open the lid while cooking.
- Do not place the appliance in the refrigerator.
- Use caution with the measuring cup; the pin on the bottom can cause injury.
- The lid gets hot during cooking; use the handle to remove.
- Eggs are extremely hot when done; use tongs to remove.
- Ensure the cooker is off before removing eggs.
Power Cord Safety Tips
- Never pull or yank the cord or appliance.
- To insert the plug, grasp firmly and guide it into the outlet.
- To disconnect, grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet.
- Inspect the power cord for cuts or abrasion marks before each use. If found, have the appliance serviced and the cord replaced by contacting Chefman Customer Support.
- Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this can stress and fray the cord.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE POWER CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.

Operating Instructions
Before First Use
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Ensure all parts and accessories are present.
- Gently wipe the base and heating plate with a damp cloth.
- Wash the lid, trays, removal tool, measuring cup, and riser with warm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly. These parts are top-rack dishwasher safe.
- Dry all parts before plugging in or assembling.
- Never submerge the base or power cord in water.
How to Use: Hard, Medium, or Soft-Boiled Eggs
- Place the egg cooker on a clean, dry surface and plug it into the wall outlet.
- Use the lines on the measuring cup to determine the correct water amount for your desired egg doneness:
- Hard-boiled: Fully-cooked yolks and whites.
- Medium-boiled: Semi-soft yolks, fully-cooked whites.
- Soft-boiled: Soft yolks, mostly-cooked whites.
- Fill the measuring cup with water to the appropriate line (Hard, Medium, or Soft).
- Pour the water into the heating plate.
- Attach the Egg Tray Removal Tool to the bottom of the Bottom 6-Egg Tray and pull up to lock it in place.
- Place the Bottom 6-Egg Tray onto the base.
- Place up to 6 eggs into the divots of the Bottom 6-Egg Tray.
- Tip: To prevent air bubbles in a full egg, use the egg pin on the bottom of the measuring cup to gently prick the shell before placing it in the tray.
- Place the Transparent Riser onto the base and twist clockwise to secure.
- Place the Top 6-Egg Tray onto the Transparent Riser.
- Place up to 6 eggs into the divots of the Top 6-Egg Tray.
- Tip: To prevent air bubbles in a full egg, use the egg pin on the bottom of the measuring cup to gently prick the shell before placing it in the tray.
- Place the lid onto the Top 6-Egg Tray and turn clockwise to secure.
- Press the Power Button to begin cooking.
- When cooking is complete, an alarm will sound. Press the Power Button to turn off the cooker and silence the alarm.
- Using the lid handle, carefully remove the lid.
- Using tongs, transfer the hot eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process and make them easier to handle.
- Using the tray handles, remove the Top 6-Egg Tray.
- Using tongs, transfer the bottom 6 eggs to a bowl of ice water.
- Use the Egg Tray Removal Tool to remove the Bottom 6-Egg Tray.
- To remove mineral deposits, pour 2 tbsp white vinegar and 1 tbsp water onto the heating plate.
- Once the liquids have cooled, wipe the heating plate dry with a paper towel or soft cloth.
- Wash and dry all removable parts before storing.
How to Use: Poached Eggs or a 2-Egg Omelet
- Place the egg cooker on a clean, dry surface and plug it into the wall outlet.
- Use the lines on the measuring cup for the correct water amount (Omelet or Poached).
- Fill the measuring cup with water to the appropriate line.
- Pour the water into the heating plate.
- Place the Bottom 6-Egg Tray onto the base.
- Lightly grease the desired accessory (Poaching Tray or Omelet Tray) with a drop of oil or cooking spray. (This step helps prevent sticking but is not required.)
- Place up to 2 eggs into the desired accessory.
- Place the lid onto the Bottom 6-Egg Tray and turn clockwise to secure.
- Press the Power Button to begin cooking.
- When cooking is complete, an alarm will sound. Press the Power Button to turn off the cooker and silence the alarm.
- Using the lid handle, carefully remove the lid.
- Using tongs, remove the Poaching Tray or Omelet Tray. Eggs will be hot.
- Using tongs, remove the Bottom 6-Egg Tray.
- To remove mineral deposits, pour 2 tbsp white vinegar and 1 tbsp water onto the heating plate.
- Once the liquids have cooled, wipe the heating plate dry with a paper towel or soft cloth.
- Wash and dry all removable parts before storing.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Always unplug the Egg Cooker before cleaning.
- Wash the lid, trays, removal tool, and measuring cup with warm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly. These parts are top-rack dishwasher safe.
- To clean the heating plate, pour 2 tbsp white vinegar and 1 tbsp water onto it. Let cool completely, then wipe with a paper towel or soft cloth to remove mineral deposits.
- Note: Regular cleaning with vinegar prevents mineral buildup and discoloration of the heating plate.
- Wipe the main body housing with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
- Store clean parts and accessories inside the Egg Cooker.
