Raddy RF320 Multi-Band Radio

1. Product Overview

The Raddy RF320 is a DSP digital display multi-band radio with APP intelligent remote control. It supports AIR, FM, MW, SW, VHF, and WB bands. Play modes include Bluetooth, TF card, and audio input (3.5mm line-in/connection to a computer via USB data AUX-in). It can also function as a card reader, has a 5W high power amplifier, mega bass, flashlight, and SOS alarm, making it suitable as an emergency product for outdoor activities. The product offers multiple ways to search for channels, including button search, pulley and shuttle search, rotating dial search, and digital key selection via the mobile APP.

4. Download of Mobile APP

Follow the APP installation instructions:

  1. Turn on the radio.
  2. Install the APP.
  3. Successful installation on mobile.
  4. Click to enter the APP.

Note: To disconnect the APP, press the POWER/SLEEP button for 2 seconds. When "BLE" appears, the APP is disconnected.

5. Function of Buttons

Detailed descriptions of button functions are provided, including power on/off, sleep time setting, volume adjustment, band switching, channel search, EQ settings, and more.

6. Symbols on LCD

The LCD display shows various symbols indicating signal strength, channel storage, volume, battery status, units (MHz, KHz), automatic power on/clock, sleep time, lock status, Bluetooth play, TF card play, and WB alarm.

7. Function Introduction

7.1.1 Power On/Off

Install the battery correctly. Press POWER/SLEEP to show the time, then press POWER/SLEEP again within 10 seconds to turn on the radio. Press and hold POWER/SLEEP for 2 seconds to turn off the radio.

7.1.2 Set Sleep Time

Press POWER/SLEEP to turn on the time display. Long press POWER/SLEEP for 2 seconds to set the sleep time. Use the buttons to choose the minutes of automatic power off (90-80-70-60-50-40-30-20-10 minutes).

7.2. Volume Adjustment

When the radio is working, use VOL+ or VOL- to adjust the volume from 00 to 32.

7.3. Listen to the Radio

7.3.1 Receiving Ranges

The product supports various receiving ranges for FM, VHF, MW, SW, AIR, and WB bands. These ranges can be adjusted as needed.

7.3.2 Way of Channel Search

Methods include manual channel search, semi-automatic channel search, full automatic channel search and storage, shuttle channel search, and rotating dial search.

7.3.3 Numeric Tuning (SW)

In SW mode, press SUB-BAND to switch between 11 SW meter waves.

7.3.4 Switch between VHF Wavelets

In VHF mode, press SUB-BAND to switch between 9 VHF wavelets.

7.3.5 Switch between AIR Wavelets

In AIR mode, press SUB-BAND to switch between 5 AIR wavelets.

7.3.6 Setting of VHF Bandwidth

In VHF mode, long press MOD for 2 seconds to set the bandwidth (50KHZ, 100KHZ, 150KHZ, 200KHZ).

7.4 Method of Memory a Station Manually

Search for a frequency, long press MEMO for 2 seconds to enter manual memory mode. Use TUNE+/NEXT or TUNE-/PREV to select the memory address, then press MEMO again to confirm.

7.5 Recall Station

Press MEMO to enter recall mode. Use TUNE+/NEXT or TUNE-/PREV or the Shuttle pulley to select the memory address.

7.6. WB

Press BAND/TIME SET to switch to WB. Use SUB-BAND or long press TUNE+/NEXT or TUNE-/PREV to choose a weather frequency. Turn on the alarm by long pressing BAND/TIME SET for 2 seconds. Turn off the alarm by pressing BAND/TIME SET after it rings.

7.7. Start SQ function at AIR

In AIR mode, long press MOD to toggle SQ function ON or OFF.

8. Introduction to Bluetooth Mode

The Bluetooth name is "RF320". Press BT to switch to Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth symbol will flash while waiting for connection and remain solid upon successful connection. Use TUNE+/NEXT or Shuttle to play next/previous song. Long press BT for 2 seconds to pause/play. Long press MOD to disconnect Bluetooth.

9. TF Card Play

Insert TF card to play songs. Press BT to switch to TF card play. Use TUNE+/NEXT or Shuttle for song navigation. Long press TUNE+/NEXT or TUNE-/PREV for fast forward/backward. Long press MOD for 2 seconds to select playback mode (rA, rO, rF, rr).

Note: If vibrato occurs, adjust the volume. Songs cannot be played from TF card in reception or Bluetooth modes.

10. Setting of Auto-on Timer

Press BAND/TIME SET to show the time. Long press BAND/TIME SET for 2 seconds to set the hour, then use TUNE+/NEXT or TUNE-/PREV to adjust. Long press BAND/TIME SET again to set the minute. Use TUNE+/NEXT or TUNE-/PREV to adjust. Press BAND/TIME SET to choose between 24Hr/12Hr time system. Press BAND/TIME SET to confirm.

11. Setting of On Timer and Clock Timer

The on timer and clock timer can be set as follows:

Warm Prompt: If "rAd" on timer is chosen, the sleep symbol "" appears on LCD. The radio will turn off automatically at the set off time.

11.3. Off: On Timer/Clock Timer

Cancel the on timer/clock timer by pressing MEMO in clock mode. The symbol "" disappears, and the clock turns off.

12. Play Mode Selection and EQ Setting

Press STEP/EQ to choose an EQ effect (NORMAL, POP, ROCK, JAZZ, CLASSIC, COUNTRY). The radio defaults to the selected EQ after 3 seconds of inactivity.

18. External Sound Source (AUX) Input and Play

Insert a 3.5mm sound source device into the AUX jack. Press BT to select "sound source input" mode. "LINE" appears on LCD.

19. Computer Data Transmission

Insert TF card and connect to computer via USB cable. The computer will install drivers, and "PC" will appear on LCD upon successful connection. Files on the TF card can be read, copied, and deleted.

20. Use the Antenna

Pull out the antenna and adjust its length and direction for optimal reception. For AM broadcast, use the built-in magnetic antenna and rotate the body for best reception. Shorten the antenna if strong radio interference occurs.
