Consult your vehicle owner's manual for proper disconnection of electrical and lifting of vehicle if required for installation of this product. This install may require some technical skills and knowledge of basic mechanical work. Date inside box cover NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL Begin by unpacking all items and inspecting for missing pieces or damage. If you have any concerns, please contact the company the product was purchased from. Extra hardware may be included with the product. HARDWARE INCLUDED (16) M14x35mm Bolts (16) M14 Lock Nuts (32) M14 Flat Washers (4) M6x20mm Bolts (4) M6 Lock Washers (8) M6 Flat Washers STEP 1 | Remove the under hood radiator support cover and fresh air intake duct. Depress/push down on the center of the push pins to unlock the pin. Use a trim tool to pry up the push pins to remove. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 2 | Disconnect the 2 electrical plugs connected to the grille. STEP 3 | Use a 10mm socket to remove the (3) bolts securing the top of the grille to the vehicle. Note: Two outside bolts near headlights shown in image. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 4 | Use a 10mm socket to remove the (4) bolts on each side securing the inner fender to the front bumper. STEP 5 | Use a trim pry tool to remove the (2) push pins on each side securing the factory flare to the bumper (If equipped). With a firm grip pry the front of the factory fender flare away from the vehicle. Be careful not to brake the factory clips on the fender flare. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 6 | Use a 10mm socket to remove the bolt securing the bumpers lower portion to the crash bar on each side. STEP 7 | Pull the front of the fender flare down to expose the Phillips head screw securing the side of the front bumper to the vehicle. Use a Phillips head screw driver to remove the screw from each side. STEP 8 | Use a 10mm socket to remove the bolts securing the lower bumper valance. Use a 12mm socket to remove the (4) bolts securing the factory front skid plate. If you are planning to run the SPTT1-04 optional skid plate please remove the (4) bolts securing the rear skid plate. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 9 | Use a 17mm socket to remove the factory tow hooks. STEP 10 | Lift the grille/front bumper up and away from the vehicle. There are various clips holding the front on, so take your time to release all of them. STEP 1 | Use a 17mm socket to remove the (8) bolts securing the crash bar. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 1 | With everything removed the vehicle should look as shown. STEP 2 | With the factory bumper removed it is now time to build out the DV8 Centric Front Bumper. If you are planning to run an LED Light bar or Pod lights install them now using the hardware provided with the lights. Note: If running a winch AND pod lights, we recommend running a winch with a built in wireless remote and the winch left in the "Engaged" position since there is no direct access to the winch with the pod lights installed. STEP 3 | Use the hardware provided with the LED light bar to loosely secure the provided light bar brackets NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 4 | Use the provided M6x20 hardware (Allen head bolt, flat washers and Nylon lock nut) a #4 Allen tool and 10mm wrench to secure the light bar brackets in place. Use (2) flat washers per Allen head bolt, one washer for the bolt and one washer for the locking nut side. For this install we chose an DV8 20" Elite series amber LED light bar. (BE20SW105W-A) STEP 5 | Install the pod lights using the hardware provided with the light. For this install we chose (2) DV8 3" Elite series LED pod lights. (BE3EW40W) NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 6 | If running a winch, install your fair-lead at this time using the hardware provided with the fair-lead. For this install we chose a DV8 Pocket Fairlead for synthetic rope winches. (WBPF-01) STEP 7 | If running a winch, mount the winch to the provided winch plate at this time using the hardware provided with the winch. The laser cut zip tie tabs can be used to secure any loose pod light/winch wiring. For this install we chose a Badlands Apex 12K winch. STEP 8 | Route a portion the winch rope through the fair-lead. Place the winch and winch plate on to the bumper and align the (6) mounting hole. Three on each side. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 9 | Use the provided M14x 35 hardware ( M14 Hex bolt, Flat washers & Nylon lock nut) to secure the winch plate to the bumper. Use (2) flat washers per bolt, one for the Hex bolt head and one for the locking nut. Note: It is best to thread the bolts through the bumper into the winch plate as shown. STEP 10 | Use a 22mm wrench and 21mm socket to secure the (6) winch plate mounting bolts. Note: An socket extension and universal swivel is helpful at reaching all the bolts. TECH TIP: It is best to insert the socket through the cut out on the side to reach the hex head bolts. STEP 11 | With assistance lift the bumper into place. If running a winch, the winch will sit behind the grille lower support bracket. Use the provided spacer bracket between the frame rail and bumper if additional forward spacing in needed for the winch, winch wiring or hard-lines clearance. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 12 | Ensure the bumper is centered side to side. Loosely install the top mounting bolts using the provided M14x35 hardware (M14 hex bolt, flat washer & nylon lock nut) to hold the bumper in place. STEP 13 | Lay the vehicles front bumper/grille on a flat surface soft surface to ensure the painted surface is not damaged. To prepare the front bumper to be cut, remove (4) Phillips head screws from each side using a Phillips head screwdriver. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 14 | Use a trim pry tool to depress all of the lower valance's retaining clips. Remove the bumpers lower valance. STEP 15 | Using your preferred cutting tool, cut the bumpers center section following along the inner edge as shown with our yellow guide line. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 16 | After initial cut, install the front bumper/grille on the vehicle loosely. Review the over all fitment of the bumper and remove material as needed to achieve your desired fit. We chose to remove an additional 1/8th1/4 inch of material across the top and left 1/8th inch of material along the sides. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 17 | Use a file/sand paper to smooth out any rough/wavy edges. STEP 18 | Install the phillips head screws across the top to support the grille/shutter system. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 19 | Once you are happy with the over all fitment of the bumper/grille, secure the bumper in place using (5) M14 bolts per side. Remove the upper/ inner mounting bolt and install the upper/ inner horizontal mounting bolt as shown. The direction of the bolt here is important. Install the all other mounting bolts and secure them using a 21mm socket and 22mm wrench. STEP 20 | Reinstall the bumper/ grille, snap in all front bumper/grille clips and reinstall the Phillips head screw on each side. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 21 | Reconnect the (2) electrical plugs. Secure the top of the bumper/grille using the (3) 10mm bolts . NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 22 | Reinstall the radiator support cover and intake fresh air duct using the factory push pins. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 23 | Reinstall the (2) factory 10mm bolts that secure the inner fender at the bottom of the bumper on each side. STEP 24 | Clip in the factory fender flares (if equipped). Reinstall the (2) factory 10mm bolts that secure the inner fender to the fender flare on each side. Reinstall the (2) push pins that secure the fender flare to the vehicle on each side. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 25 | Install the winch rope hook to the winch rope. If you are running a DV8 fair-lead, use a pair of snap ring pliers to remove the snap clip and install the hooks pin on to the rope. Use the snap clip to lock the pin in place. STEP 26 | Double check all hardware is secure. Congratulations, installation of the Tacoma Centric Front Bumper is now complete. NEED HELP? 855-680-9595
