Overview
The FEP-0631 is an unmanaged switch featuring 4x 10/100M PoE downlink ports and 2x 10/100M uplink ports. The 4x 10/100M ports support PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at standard), with a single port PoE power output up to 30W and a maximum whole machine power of 60W. It offers three operating modes: Extend, Default, and VLAN, to suit various complex environments. The switch includes a PoE Auto-check function designed to automatically detect and restart frozen PD equipment, significantly reducing maintenance effort. It provides robust protection with 6KV surge protection and 6KV contact / 8KV air ESD protection. The device supports wall-hanging and desktop installation, making it reliable and durable for applications such as security network video monitoring and general network engineering.

Application

⚠️ Attention 1: This product must be well grounded against lightning. Please use a cable better than 20# to connect the grounding terminal and ground.

DIP Switches:
- Mode Selection: Extend, Default, VLAN.
- PoE Auto-Check: On/Off.
⚠️ Attention 2: Extend, Default, VLAN mode: It can be selected by dip switch.
- Extend: Ports 1~4 offer Max. 250m transmission; ports 1~4 are isolated and can only communicate with the uplink ports; this mode restrains network storms and closes flow control.
- Default: Normal switch operation.
- VLAN: Ports 1~4 are isolated and can only communicate with the uplink ports; this mode restrains network storms and closes flow control.
⚠️ Attention 3: PoE Auto-check: The PoE Auto-check function is open/closed by dip switch. The switch always auto-detects ports 1~4 for freezing. If some ports are frozen, the switch will restart them, but other ports are unaffected.

Installation
Installation on the Wall
- Use the screws to fix the hanger.
- Drill holes on a strong position of the wall and then drive the rubber plug into the hole.
- Drive these screws into the holes to secure the hanger.

Installation Step (Example: Video Monitoring)
- Please turn off the signal source and the device's power; installation with power on may damage the device.
- Use 4 network cables to connect 4 IP cameras with the product's 1~4 RJ45 ports.
- Use 1 network cable to connect port 5 with an NVR, and another network cable to connect port 6 with another switch.
- Connect the switch with the power adapter.
- Check if the installation is correct and the device is good; make sure all connections are reliable and power up the system.
- Make sure every network device's power supply works normally.
