UP Series Multi-stage Submersible Pumps
Product Overview
A Pedrollo UP Series multi-stage submersible pump is depicted. It is a tall, cylindrical stainless steel pump with a silver finish. The top features the blue "PEDROLLO" logo and "the spring of life" tagline. Below this, the "UP" logo is prominently displayed in white on a blue circular background. The pump body has a perforated section near the bottom, suggesting water intake. A black power cable with an orange plug is visible, coiled at the base. An orange float switch is attached to the side of the pump body. The pump is depicted standing upright, with a blue hose connected to its top outlet.

Installation and Use
This is a new concept range of submersible multi-stage pumps designed to guarantee even greater reliability, thanks to patented innovative technical solutions which prevent blockage of the pumps even after prolonged periods of inactivity. Because of their high efficiency and reliability, they are suitable for use with clean water in domestic, civil, and agricultural applications such as the distribution of water in combination with pressure tanks, for the irrigation of gardens and orchards, and for pressure boosting, etc.
Warranty: 2 Year Warranty
Characteristic Curves and Performance Data
A performance graph displays characteristic curves for the UPm2/4-GE and UPm4/5-GE models at 50 Hz and 2900 min⁻¹. The Y-axis represents Head H in meters (ranging from 0 to 100), with corresponding feet values on the right. The X-axis represents Flow Rate Q in l/min (ranging from 0 to 190) and m³/h (ranging from 0 to 11), with US g.p.m. and Imp g.p.m. also indicated. The UPm2/4-GE curve shows a higher head for a given flow rate compared to the UPm4/5-GE curve.

---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
kW | HP | m³/h | l/min | 0 | 10 | 20 | 40 | 60 | 80 | 100 | 120 |

A cross-section diagram of the UP Series pump illustrates its internal components. Numbered labels point to: 1. External Sleeve, 2. Motor Sleeve, 3. Impellers and Diffusers, 4. Diaphragms, 5. Motor Shaft, 6. Two Mechanical Seals (separated by an oil chamber), 7. Bearings, 8. Capacitor, 9. Electric Motor, 10. Power Cable, 11. Automatic Vent Valve, 12. Anti-Vibration Supports, 13. Float Switch. The diagram shows the arrangement of the motor, seals, and pumping stages within the pump housing.
Dimensions and Weight
Two installation diagrams are shown: Vertical Installation: Depicts the pump submerged in a vertical orientation within a tank or well. The float switch is visible, positioned to control water levels. Labels indicate the pump's dimensions (DN, Ø, h) and water level markers: s (Minimum restarting level), t (Emptying level), and u (Minimum operational level). Horizontal Installation: Shows the pump installed horizontally in a tank or sump. The float switch is again visible for water level control. Similar dimension and water level markers (DN, Ø, h, s, t, u) are shown.
