EasySMX V07W Wireless Gaming Headset Firmware Upgrade Guide

Step 1: Download Program

Step 2: Connect Dongle

Before upgrading, plug the USB dongle (gaming headset sender side) into a Windows PC USB host port.

Step 3: Run Upgrade Program

File Explorer Window

A file explorer window is displayed, showing files and their details. The relevant file for the upgrade is highlighted:

The file gmFw._07 is the firmware upgrade file.

Upgrade Software Interface

The upgrade software interface guides the user through the process:

Initial status: "Tx Dongle status: Tx: Not Connected"

1. Step 1: Click the "Get ID" button. The "Device ID" is then displayed (indicated by arrow 1).
2. Step 2: Click the "Upgrade firmware" button (indicated by arrow 2).
3. Step 3: Click the "Set ID" button. The "Set ID result" is then displayed (indicated by arrow 3).

Manual Pairing Instructions

If manual pairing is necessary:

1. Press the button below the "Tx Pairing" button.
2. With the gaming headset powered off, press and hold the power key for 10 seconds. The headset will then enter pairing mode.

Step 4: Connection and Usage

When the V07W headset is turned on, it will automatically connect to the USB receiver. After a successful connection, set the microphone as the default output device. The microphone can then be used normally.

Note: The upgrade program must be run on a Windows PC. After the firmware upgrade, the headset can be used on both MAC and Windows PCs.
