General Information and Safety Instructions Read all instructions thoroughly before first use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. The safety precautions mentioned in this manual to avoid the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, and injury when correctly followed. Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference, along with the purchase receipt and packaging. If applicable, pass these instructions onto the next owner of this product. EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS The following symbols and signal words are used in this Instruction Manual, on the product or on the packaging. This signal symbol/word designates a hazard with moderate risk, which may result in death or severe injury if not avoided. For the purpose of recharging the battery, only use the supplied USB Charging cable provided with the product. x This product is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking. x This product contains batteries that are non-replaceable. x Do not insert objects into the air louvres. x Never use any accessories or parts not included with the product. x Do not spray water directly on to equipment containing electrical components. x No naked flame sources, such as candles, should be placed near the product. x The voltage indicated on the rating plate must correspond to the supply voltage. Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings. Slots and openings are provided for ventilation to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. Never use wet hands to touch USB cable or charging port. x Use this battery-operated product only for cleaning moist, smooth surfaces such as windows, mirrors or tiles. Cleaner and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. x Keep the product out of reach of children when it is energized or cooling down. x Children can become trapped in the packing film when playing and suffocate. x Do not allow children to play with the product or the packing film. Do not place the product on or near a flammable or hot object. x Some products are "sealed" using tamperproof screws to avoid tampering/maintenance by unskilled or unqualified persons and also for safety reasons. Swallowing the products battery may result in severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. If it is no longer possible to safely close the battery compartment, stop using the product and store it so that it is not accessible for children. If you suspect that a battery has been swallowed or otherwise incorporated, promptly consult a physician. Leaking battery acid may lead to chemical burns. Do not allow battery acid to come into contact with skin, eyes or mucus membranes. In the event of contact with acid, immediately flush the applicable areas with plenty of clean water and consult a physician if necessary. x Batteries (particularly lithium batteries) can explode if used improperly. x You may not heat or short circuit batteries and rechargeable batteries or dispose of them in fire. x Do not expose batteries and rechargeable batteries to direct sunlight. x The product has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair, disassemble, or modify the product. When operating the product, be cautious of loose clothing, jewellery, or long hair as this can become entangled in moving parts which can snag and pull. x Do not direct the spray from the spray bottle against persons or animals. x Do not direct the spray from the spray bottle against electrical devices. x If there is any possibility that the product or detergents could harm or discolour a surface it is recommended that a test be done first. x Do not use undiluted acids, acetone, or solvents. x Do not use flammable liquids. 4 Do not use boiling or hot water to clean surfaces. Danger of scalding. x Do not use hot or boiling water in the product or the spray applicator. x Do not use hot or boiling water to clean the product. x This product is for home use only; it is not intended for commercial use. The products results will vary depending on the amount of detergent used in the spray bottle. Streak free results will only be achieved if the instructions are followed correctly. Modifications by the user/s may cause damage to property or persons and will be deemed as not in accordance with the instruction manual and no liability for damages will be accepted by the manufacturer. x To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product, flexible cord or plug to rain, moisture, or any liquid. x Do not use the product near baths, basins or other vessels containing water or other liquids, or when standing in or on damp or wet surfaces. x In the event that the product is dropped into water, turn off the power at the power outlet and remove the plug immediately. DO NOT REACH INTO THE WATER TO RETRIEVE IT UNTIL IT HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER OUTLET. x It is important to note that the product will have to be inspected by a qualified technician before using it again. Charging socket 6 Instructions BEFORE FIRST USE Carefully unpack the product and remove any packaging. Check to see that you have received all the items listed in the parts guide before discarding the packaging. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young children so ensure that all packaging materials are out of their reach. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Connect the vacuum head (1) on to the body (7). 2. Charge the product. NOTE: The products battery is not charged on delivery. Before using the product for the first time, the battery must be charged for at least 3 hours. CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING! For the purpose of recharging the battery, only use the USB charger with DC 5V and 1A output to charge this item. Disconnect the USB cable after the charging is complete. 1. To charge the product, connect the supplied USB charging cable to a charger not included) and insert the other end into the charging socket on the body of the product. The indicator light (5) will turn red when charging. When the product is fully charged, the indicator light (5) will turn blue. 2. It is recommended to unplug the USB charging cable when the product is fully charged. NOTE: Only recharge the battery when the suction power of the product is noticeably weaker, and the indicator light (5) is flashing red. CLEANING WINDOWS 1. Turn the spray nozzle (11) from "X" to STREAM ( (Fig. A). ) or SPRAY ( ) as desired 2. Insert the wiping attachment (10) on to the spray nozzle (11). Ensure that it clicks securely into the positioning ring (12). The spray nozzle (11) should now be enclosed within the wiping attachment (10) and the positioning ring (12) (Fig. B). 7 3. Fill the spray bottle (13) with water and if required with a cleaning agent suitable for window cleaning (Fig. C). 4. Screw the spray nozzle (11) with the fitted attachments on to the spray bottle (13) (Fig. D). 5. Pull the microfibre cloth (15) over the wiping attachment (10) and secure it with the Velcro fastener (Fig. E). 6. Spray the smooth surface you wish to clean (window, mirror, tiles, for example). 7. Using the microfibre cloth (15) wipe over the sprayed area to loosen dirt and debris. USING THE VACUUM CLEANER 1. Press the power button (6). The indicator light (5) will illuminate blue. NOTE: If the indicator light (5) flashes red during use, this indicates that the product needs to be charged (see charging instructions). 8 2. Move the vacuum head (1) slowly from top to bottom across the wet surface. (Water will be sucked into the dirty water container (3)). 3. After you have finished a section, always start again at the top. 4. Once the "MAX" mark on the dirty water container (3) is reached, switch off the product by pressing the power button (6) and empty the dirty water container (3). 5. Over a sink pull out the rubber plug (4) on the front of the dirty water container (3) and pour out the dirty water. After, close the rubber plug (4) and start the vacuum process again. 6. Once the entire surface is dry, press the power button (6) again to turn the product off. The indicator light (5) will turn off. 7. If necessary, dry off any streaks or remaining moisture on the surface with a dry cloth. 9 Cleaning and Maintenance Follow these instructions to ensure your product is cleaned and maintained correctly. NOTE: Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials as these can damage the surface of the product. Ensure that the power is turned off and that the USB charging cable is disconnected. CLEANING THE SPRAY BOTTLE 1. Remove the microfibre cloth (15). 2. Open the spray bottle (13) and empty its contents. 3. Wipe the components of the spray bottle (13) with a damp cloth, if necessary, a small amount of detergent can be used on the cloth. WASHING THE MICROFIBRE CLOTH x The microfibre cloth (15) can be machine washed if required at 60°C. Do not use any softener or conditioner as this reduces the cleaning power of the microfibre cloth. x Do not bleach the microfibre cloth (15). x Do not tumble dry the microfibre cloth (15). x Do not iron the microfibre cloth (15). CLEANING THE PRODUCT For thorough cleaning, disassemble the product. 1. Press the ridged area on the underside of the vacuum head attachment (1) and pull the vacuum head (1) off the product. (Fig. F). Clean the vacuum head (1) with a damp cloth, if necessary, a small amount of detergent can be used on the cloth. 2. Press the dirty water container release button (9) and remove the dirty water container (3) from the product body (7) (Fig. G). NOTE: Grasp the two notches on the side of the container to easily remove it. 10 3. Slightly turn the black nozzle (2) at the top of the dirty water container (3) anticlockwise and lift it off (Fig. H). 4. Push the top of the tube through the container and grasp the slanted side at the bottom to pull it out. (Fig. I). 5. Rinse the dirty water container (3) with clean water and if necessary, with small amount of detergent (Fig. J). 6. Wipe the product body (7) with a damp cloth and if necessary, with small amount of detergent. Dry the product body (7) with a clean and dry cloth (Fig. K). 7. Reassemble the product. A. Push the tube back into the dirty water container (3). NOTE: The slanted side of the tube must be aligned with the slanted side of the container. (Fig. L) B. Place the black nozzle (2) back into place and turn it clockwise to secure. Make sure that the sealing rings are correctly inserted. (FIG. M). C. Reattach the dirty water container (3) on to the product body (7) by pushing the top part into the product body (7) and then pushing the slanted bottom part downwards until the dirty water container (3) clicks firmly into place (Fig. N). 11 D. Push the vacuum head (1) back on to the product body 7. (Fig. O). The body (7) contains electrical components. Do not immerse this part in water or rinse under water. x Ensure all parts are dry before storing and re-assembling. x Store in a cool dry place out of reach of children. Troubleshooting PROBLEM The appliance will not turn on. POSSIBLE CAUSE Battery not charged. Battery too hot/cold. Restricted or no vacuum. Vacuum head blocked. Rubber plug removed. SOLUTION Check indicator light. If it is blinking red, if yes, charge the battery. Unblock vacuum head. Replace rubber plug. Appliance turns itself off. Battery too hot/cold. Allow to cool/warm. Vacuum head blocked. Unblock vacuum head. The appliance is not cleaning properly. Vacuum head damaged. Too much force applied. Too little force applied. Clean the vacuum head. Apply reduced force. Apply more force. Water is leaking from the vacuum head of the appliance. No water is coming out of the spray bottle. The dirty water container is full past the MAX line. There is no water in the spray bottle. The spray nozzle is set to off. Empty the dirty water container. Refill the spray bottle.
