Introduction
Thanks for choosing Govee Christmas String Lights. The string lights can be easily installed indoors, on the Christmas tree outdoors, or in other locations. It has 60 preset scene modes, which can bring pleasant lighting to your Christmas tree or any other home decor. In addition, the built-in mic inside the control box also enables the synchronization of light and sound.

At a Glance
The string lights consist of a lead wire connecting to a control box, which then connects to the power adapter. The illuminated part of the string lights forms a serpentine pattern. The lead wire measures 1M (3.3FT). The total length of the illuminated string is 1.5M (4.9FT), with individual lights spaced 10CM (0.33FT) apart. The control box features buttons for power and reset functions.

Installing Your Device
- Connect the control box to the power adapter.
- Fix the string lights at the bottom and wrap them around the branches from bottom to top.
- Plug into power.
Pairing Your Light with Govee Home App
What You Need
- A Wi-Fi router supporting the 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands. 5GHz is not supported.
- A smartphone or tablet running iOS or Android.
Steps
- Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
- Turn on your smartphone's Bluetooth.
- Open the app, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner and search for "H70C1".
- Tap the device icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.

Troubleshooting
Fails to connect to Wi-Fi
- Make sure the distance between the device and the router is less than 100ft.
- Keep as few obstructions (e.g., walls, windows) as possible between the device and the router.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi name and password you entered are correct.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi you connect to is 2.4GHz. 5GHz is not supported.
Lost Wi-Fi connection / Cannot use the device with app
- Make sure your home Wi-Fi works well.
- Check if the Wi-Fi password has been modified.
- Keep as few obstructions as possible between the device and the router.
- Check if the device has connected to Wi-Fi. If not, re-connect as mentioned above.
Cannot pair or connect with Alexa or Google Assistant
- Ensure the stability of the Wi-Fi connection.
- Go to the app's Settings page and follow the instructions under "User Guide" to pair the device again.
Music Mode synchronization effect not working properly
- Ensure the control box is close to the music source for better microphone pickup.
Can multiple users control one device?
- Each device can only be controlled by one account.
- If multiple users want to control the same device, ensure they are using the same account.
