Buderus Logaflow HSM 40/50 Heating Circuit Sets for Medium Output Range
Buderus is introducing new heating circuit sets, the Logaflow HSM 40/50, designed for the medium output range with nominal sizes of DN40 and DN50. These sets can be utilized for outputs up to approximately 200 kW.
The sets are built on a modular principle, similar to existing smaller versions, ensuring that all critical components for each heating circuit are pre-assembled. This design facilitates fast and error-free integration into heating systems.
A total of eight new heating circuit sets are available. Four are configured for the Logamatic EMS plus control system, incorporating the Logamatic MM100 module, while the other four are designed for the Logamatic 5000 control system. The sets also feature different pre-mounted pumps: Buderus utilizes Wilo Para Maxo pumps for the Logamatic EMS plus sets and KSB Calio pumps for the Logamatic 5000 sets.
New additions include the HKV2/G2/DN125 and HKV3/G2/DN125 heating circuit manifolds, which allow for the installation of two or three HS40 or HS50 sets, respectively. A significant advantage is their flange connections, enabling flexible combination of the manifolds. This configuration permits cascading up to six heating circuit sets, capable of transmitting a maximum of 1200 kW. Testing with trade partners demonstrated that installing a cascade of six sets, requiring only electrical connections, took approximately one morning, representing a substantial time saving compared to conventional installations.
The new heating circuit manifolds can also accommodate smaller heating circuit sets, such as the HS32/7.5, with the addition of an HS32 180/130 adapter set from the accessories range.
The Buderus heating circuit sets are based on a modular principle, with options available including sets with or without a mixer, and with or without a Logamatic MM100 module. Previously, these sets were used in the smaller output range up to 75 kW and for the nominal size of DN32.
Installation options for trade partners include wall mounting a single set using a mounting kit, or using heating circuit manifolds for multiple sets. All sets are equipped with four ball valves for flow and return, positioned at the top and bottom. The placement of main components between these ball valves ensures that the sets are particularly easy to service.
