Connect Alarm Relay output (ALM) to Alarm System. 3 Wiring the Redundant Power Inputs You can use "Terminal Block (PWR)" for primary power and "Terminal Block (RPS)" for secondary power and to be a redundant power input. The power input diagram is as follows: Insert the terminal block connector accessory, which includes "PWR" and "RPS," into the terminal block receptor. 4 LED Status Table LED PWR (Green) PWR (Green) Status ON OFF Description Primary power is on Primary power is off or experiencing failure RPS (Green) RPS (Green) ON OFF ALM (Red) ON ALM (Red) OFF RJ45 1000M (Green) 1000M (Green) ON OFF LNK/ACT (Green) ON (Blinking) LNK/ACT (Green) OFF Redundant (secondary) power is on Redundant (secondary) power is off or experiencing failure Alarm for following conditions: LFS (Link Fault Signaling) or power loss Normal operation, no LFS alarm or power loss Copper connection up to 1000 Mbps Copper connection speed at 10/100 Mbps Copper port correctly linked Copper port link failure SFP SFP (Green/Amber) ON ON (Blinking) OFF Ethernet link-up - Green: connection speed 1000 Mbps - Amber: connection speed 100 Mbps Activity (receiving or transmitting data) Port disconnected or link failed 5 DIP Switch Settings DIP Switch Settings Number Label Description 1 LLB ON: LLB is enabled OFF: LLB is disabled 2 LFS ON: LFS is enabled OFF: LFS is disabled 3 FX100 ON: Port 2 (SFP) speed at 100 Mbps OFF: Port 2 (SFP) speed at 1000 Mbps ALM (Alarm) DIP Switch Settings 4 PWR ON: Master power alarm reporting is enabled OFF: Master power alarm reporting is disabled 5 RPS ON: Redundant power alarm reporting is enabled OFF: Redundant power alarm reporting is disabled 6 LFS ON: Alarm for LFS issue is triggered OFF: Alarm LFS is disabled Link Fault Signaling (LFS) When the LFS DIP switch is enabled (#6), an alarm indicator will illuminate to indicate when a cable has been severed or when some other cause of disruption in service has occurred. The LFS function monitors both copper and fiber segments for a total service report. Line Loop Back Test (LLB) Set DIP Switch 1 to "ON" to activate the LLB diagnostic test function. Use the LLB function to check if the copper and fiber and fiber segments are connected properly. 6 Specifications Specification Network Speed Duplex Mode IEEE Standards Supported Power Consumption Power Supply Input Operating Temperature Storage Temperature Operating Humidity Storage Humidity Unit Dimensions (H x W x D) N785-I01-SFP-D 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit) Auto MDI/MDI-X 802.3 10Base-T 802.3u 100Base-TX/FX 802.3ab 1000Base-T 802.3z 1000Base-SX/LX 802.3x Flow Control 802.3 Auto-Negotiation 6W 20~57VDC (Terminal Block) -40° to 167°F (-40° to 75°C) -40° to 185°F (-40° to 85°C) 10% to 95% RH, Non-Condensing 5% to 95% RH, Non-Condensing 2 x 4.7 x 4.1 in. / 5 x 12 x 10.4 cm 7 Warranty and Product Registration 2-Year Limited Warranty Seller warrants this product, if used in accordance with all applicable instructions, to be free from original defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of initial purchase.
