Before You Begin
Keep these instructions for future reference as they contain important information.
Clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse. This is an English-speaking toy.
Adult assembly is required (to fit the toy in the box).
Estimated Assembly Time: Approximately 20 minutes.
Tools Required: Phillips screwdriver ? (not included). Do not over-tighten screws.
Batteries Required: Three AA (LR6) alkaline batteries ? (not included). Alkaline batteries help the toy work longer.
Assembled Parts
The package contains the following parts for assembly:
- Basketball hoop
- Basketball post
- Scoreboard unit
- Concession stand base
- Legs (Left & Right)
- Net
- Base for basketball post
- Screws (M3.5 x 16 mm)
Caution: This package contains small parts. For adult assembly only.
Assembly Instructions
- Step 1-2: Attach the legs to the concession stand. Ensure they are oriented correctly; if one doesn't fit, try flipping it or using the other side.
- Step 3: Pull up on the concession stand to confirm the legs are securely attached.
- Step 4: Slide the net into the bottom of the concession stand, behind the legs, aligning its three tabs with the openings underneath.
- Step 5: Secure the net using four M3.5 x 16 mm screws.
- Step 6: Insert the yellow basketball post into its green base until it clicks.
- Step 7-8: Fit the basketball hoop assembly onto the top of the basketball post. Note that these parts do not snap together.
- Step 9: Secure the basketball hoop to the post with two M3.5 x 16 mm screws.
- Step 10: Attach the scoreboard arm to the main concession stand structure.
- Step 11: Connect the scoreboard unit to the scoreboard arm.
- Step 12: Secure the scoreboard using four M3.5 x 16 mm screws. Assembly is now complete.
Install Batteries
Locate the battery door on the back of the scoreboard.
Loosen the screw in the battery door and remove the door.
Insert three new AA (LR6) alkaline batteries ?. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly (+/-).
Replace the battery door and tighten the screw.
When sounds or lights become faint or stop, it's time for an adult to change the batteries.
Power-Volume and Mode Switches
The toy features a power-volume switch and mode selection for different play experiences.
Power-Volume Switch:
- Slide to turn power ON with low volume ?.
- Slide to turn power ON with high volume ?.
- Slide to turn power OFF ⏻.
Resetting Electronics: If the toy operates erratically, try turning the power-volume switch OFF and then back ON.
Smart Stages Modes:
- 1 Explore: Press shape buttons or spin rollers for sounds, music, first words, and phrases introducing shapes, colors, sports, and the alphabet.
- 2 Encourage: Listen for sounds, phrases, and songs, followed by a fun prompt and reward.
- 3 Pretend: Listen to engaging sounds and phrases that inspire imaginative play.
Battery Safety Information
To avoid battery leakage:
- Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types (alkaline, standard, rechargeable).
- Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment (+/-).
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product.
- Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of this product in a fire, as batteries may explode or leak.
- Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Remove rechargeable batteries before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.
Environmental Protection: Do not dispose of this product or batteries with household waste. Check local authorities for recycling advice.
