1 About This Manual
This manual introduces commonly used operations in the LG RESU HOME App.
Before setting any parameters, read through the app and the inverter user manual to learn the product functions and features. When the inverter parameters are set improperly, the inverter may fail to connect to the utility grid or fail to connect to the grid in compliance with related requirements and damage the battery, which will affect the inverter's power generation.

1.1 Target Audience
This manual applies to trained and knowledgeable technical professionals. The technical personnel has to be familiar with the product, local standards, and electric systems.

2 Product Introduction
This manual introduces how to create plants, and monitor plant status via the LG RESU HOME App.
2.1 Obtain an Account
Contact the supplier to obtain an organization account and password. Or contact the after-sales service to obtain the account and password if you purchased directly from the manufacturer. Or register an account following the steps below.
App Interface Description: Login/Registration
The app interface features the LG Energy Solution logo. Users can enter their Email and Password. Options include 'Remember' and 'Forgot password?'. Buttons for 'Login' and 'WiFi Configuration' are present. A 'Register' link is available for new users. The app version is indicated as 'LG RESU HOME V1.2'.
For registration, the 'End user' screen is displayed. Users can opt to 'Need a company account?'. Input fields for Email, Password, and Confirm Password are provided. Password requirements state it should be 8-16 characters, including at least one letter and one number. A dropdown allows selection of the user's area. A mandatory checkbox confirms agreement to 'LG Energy Solution Terms of use' and 'LG Energy Solution Data Protection Statement'. A 'Register' button initiates the process.
An 'Important Note' pop-up appears during registration, informing the user that an email will be sent to the provided address for confirmation and password reset. Users can 'Cancel' or 'Submit'.
2.2 Create a Plant
Follow these steps to create a new plant:
- Access the 'Plants' section in the app. The interface shows counts for 'Working', 'Waiting', 'Fault', and 'Offline' plants. A search bar allows filtering by plant, SN, or email. Tabs for 'Gen. Today', 'Total Income', 'Total Gen.', and 'Specific Yield' are available.
- Tap the '+' icon to create a new plant.
- Enter the 'homeowner's email', 'homeowner's name', and 'Please select the address'.
- Select 'Classification' (e.g., 'Residential').
- Input the 'Capacity (kW)' and 'Module' (amount of solar panels).
- Set the 'Profit Ratio' and select the currency (e.g., AUD, USD/kWh).
- Under 'Upload Photos', add a photo of the 'Battery serial number'.
- Tap 'Submit' to create the plant.
Upon successful creation, a confirmation message 'Plant is created successfully' appears, with an option to 'Add equipment to your pv plant!' or proceed without adding. Users can choose 'Not to add' or 'Immediately add'.
Plant Status Overview:
The app displays plant status with current temperature and power generation (e.g., '6.690 kW Working'). Details include date, 'Today Generation', 'Month Generation', 'Total Generation', and 'Total Income' (e.g., '6619.28 ZAR'). A graphical representation shows power distribution. Sections for 'Self-use of PV', 'Buy', 'Load consumption', and 'Sell' provide further insights.
2.3 Monitor Plant
The 'Monitor Plant' section allows users to view their registered plants. After logging in, the 'Plants' screen displays a list of plants, including their status (Working, Waiting, Fault, Offline) and summary generation data.
The interface includes a search bar and tabs for detailed data views. Registered plants are listed, such as 'LGO' and 'test', with columns for Capacity (kW) and Gen. Today (kWh).
