Prerequisites These prerequisites will help you
identify if the IQ-Lock can be installed on your customers door(s)

Ensuring Compatibility: Assessing the Suitability of IQ-Lock for Your Door Security

1 Visually examine the door. Search for damage or warping. If identified, notify customer & write in report. IQ-Lock will not work on damaged or warped doors.

2 Open and close the door to make sure everything is aligned, and the door operates properly. No extra force
should be required to close and open the door.

3 While door is closed, unlock, and lock the existing deadbolt to determine if
the deadbolt is aligned and operating
properly.

4 Confirm if the existing door(s) is a double bore set up. Deadbolt on the top and handle set on the bottom.
5 Open the door and examine the side and middle of the door and confirm it is a mortise cylinder or multi point set up. If the door has the mortise cylinder or multi point setup, you cannot install an IQ-Lock on this door.
6 Measure to confirm that the door thickness is between 1 3/8in and 2 ¼in (35mm to 58mm). Measure to confirm that the latch hole is 1in (25.4mm).
7 Examine door jam and confirm that the hole for the deadbolt strike is 1in (25.4mm) in depth deep and 1in diameter with a measuring tape or ruler.
