IT800 Thermostat RF Connections The IT800 thermostat and WZ600 receiver communicate via Zigbee 3.0 (2.4GHz) communication. They are pre-paired in the factory and will work locally without internet connection. The thermostat's battery might need charging on startup. Please charge for 24 hours immediately upon installation. To use app control, download the Salus Premium Lite app and follow the IT800 Quick Guide ­ available at www.saluscontrols.com (IT800WIFI_QG_V10_WE.pdf)

Pre-paired Zigbee communication

WiFi connection to router requires establishing using mobile device with Bluetooth enabled. Press RHS WiFi pinhole on receiver (3s) then follow
app instructions.

Good Installation Practice RF link between receiver and internet router is via WiFi. If the receiver is placed within a cupboard etc, or too far from the router, WiFi (app) control may be compromised (grey receiver tile). Local control via thermostat should not be affected.
WiFi link for app access ­ if WiFi signal between receiver and internet router
is weak or problematic, receiver tile on app may "grey out". Check position
of receiver, if is in a good location. Use WiFi booster if necessary.

If necessary, a mains powered SALUS smart plug (positioned between the receiver and thermostat) may be used
as Zigbee signal booster. Zigbee

Issues (See Quick Guide @ Saluscontrols.com)

Thermostat is not paired to receiver.

Press LHS pinhole for 3 seconds and add thermostat via app.

Receiver is not paired to router. Thermostat app tile is grey. Receiver app tile is grey.

Press RHS pinhole for 3 seconds and add gateway via app.
Re-charge battery (24 hours) using charging cable and dock. Move thermostat closer to the receiver or add SALUS smart plug.
Check receiver has correct power. Check internet router is powered. Check router firewall settings . Fit WiFi booster between router and receiver.

Error Codes (See Quick Guide @ Saluscontrols.com)

E1 Error ­ thermostat or receiver has been factory reset. Please re-pair units using Zigbee pinhole under receiver.

E2 Error ­ Thermostat has lost temporary pairing with receiver. Recharge thermostat / check receiver is powered on. Move thermostat closer to receiver.

E3 Error ­ Lost link with a Salus SR600 smart relay or Salus SP600 smart plug. Check power at SP/SR. Re-pair SP/SR to network.

E4 Error ­ Temperature sensor issue. Check thermostat is operating inside normal temperatures 0 to 35C, dry conditions.

E5 Error ­ Low battery error. Re-charge thermostat using charging dock for 24 hours.

No power at Receiver = grey app tiles plus E2 status
