Product Overview

The Pyle PPHP854B is an 8" Wireless BT Portable PA Speaker designed for versatile audio playback and karaoke. It features a built-in rechargeable battery, flashing party lights, MP3/USB/FM radio capabilities, and a maximum output of 300 Watts.

Front Panel Functions

The front panel includes various controls and indicators:

1. Master Volume Control: Adjusts the overall volume.
2. Charge LED Indicator: Shows the charging status.
3. DC 5V Input Jack: For power adapter connection.
4. Light Button: Short press to choose input signal, press and hold to turn the LED lights ON/OFF.
5. Next/Select Radio Station: Moves to the next track or saved radio station.
6. Play/Pause/TWS Function: Plays or pauses music. In FM mode, press and hold to search and save radio stations automatically.
7. Previous/Select Radio Station: Moves to the previous track or saved radio station.
8. AUX Input Jack: Connects external audio devices via 3.5mm cable.
9. USB Input Jack: For USB flash drive playback.
10. Microphone Input Jack: For connecting a microphone.
11. Display Screen: Shows information such as mode, track, and radio frequency.

Remote Control Functions

The included remote control offers the following functions:

Power: Turns the MP3 player on/off.
MODE: Switches between AUX, USB, Wireless BT, and Radio modes.
Mute Button: Mutes the audio output.
Play/Pause/TWS: Play/pause music. Press and hold for TWS pairing or FM radio auto-scan.
Next Song/FM Frequency: Skips to the next track or selects the next FM frequency.
Previous Song/FM Frequency: Skips to the previous track or selects the previous FM frequency.
EQ: Selects equalizer presets.
Volume Up: Increases the volume.
Track Selection: Directly select a song number or FM frequency.
USB/SD Input: Selects USB or SD card input (if applicable).
Volume Down: Decreases the volume.
Repeat Song: Repeats the current track.

TWS Function

The True Wireless Stereo (TWS) function allows you to connect two PPHP854B units for enhanced stereo sound.

Ensure both units are in BT mode and connected to your device.
Press and hold the "TWS" button on one unit for over 3 seconds. You will see "ON" on the display, and the unit will automatically connect to the other unit.
Adjusting the volume on one unit will affect both.
To disconnect TWS, press and hold the "TWS" button again for over 3 seconds until "OFF" appears on the display.

Troubleshooting

Fault	Possible Cause	Solution
No sound	1. No input sound source. 2. Volume is too low.	1. Use a better music signal. 2. Adjust volume.
Distortion of sound	1. Volume too high. 2. Speaker may be damaged.	1. Turn down the volume. 2. If speaker is damaged, repair or replace it.
Karaoke does not work	1. Microphone plug is not fully inserted. 2. Microphone switch is not on. 3. Microphone volume knob is at the lowest position.	1. Plug microphone properly into the socket. 2. Turn on microphone switch. 3. Adjust microphone volume properly.
MP3 does not play	1. The audio format in the U disc is incorrect. 2. Improper operation has caused a process disorder. 3. USB disc is disconnected.	1. Convert audio format into MP3 format. 2. Reboot the machine. 3. Insert USB disc properly.
