Bluetooth Pairing

To pair your device with the JBL Charge 6:

1. Turn on the speaker.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your device.

Play

Once paired, you can play audio from your connected device through the JBL Charge 6.

Multi-Speaker Connection

Connect multiple JBL speakers for an enhanced audio experience. Refer to the JBL Portable app for details.

App Integration

Use the JBL PORTABLE app for speaker configuration and software upgrades. Download the app from your device's app store.

Charging

Connect the provided USB-C cable to charge the speaker. A full charge typically takes 3 hours. The speaker can also function as a power bank to charge other devices.

The speaker features a detachable handle strap for portability.

Waterproof & Dustproof (IP68)

The JBL Charge 6 is rated IP68, meaning it is protected against dust and can be submerged in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. However, it is crucial to follow specific guidelines regarding water exposure and charging.

Important Warnings

• USB-C Charging Protection: The speaker will emit a reminder sound if the USB-C connector detects water, salt, or chemicals. Do not charge until the speaker is completely dry and clean. Charging while wet can cause permanent damage.
• Battery Care: To protect battery lifespan, charge fully at least once every 3 months. Battery life varies with usage and environmental conditions.
• Liquid Exposure: Avoid exposing the speaker to liquids without disconnecting cables. Do not expose to water while charging. Chemicals and salt from pools or the ocean can damage seals and connectors over time if not rinsed off. Always ensure the speaker is dry and clean before charging after liquid contact.
