It's all about simplicity
Pressure / Temperature / Humidity / Air velocity / Air flow rate
Product Range Overview
Sauermann offers a comprehensive range of portable HVACR instruments designed for ease of use and accuracy. These instruments cover a broad spectrum of measurements, including temperature, relative humidity, pressure, air velocity, and air flow rate, catering to the needs of HVACR engineers for their routine operations.
The product line includes:
- Si-PM3: Digital differential pressure manometer, useful for checking air treatment unit filters for clogging and measuring pressure at gas inlets or flue draught.
- Si-TT3: Dual input thermocouple thermometer, ideal for comparing water temperatures in boiler inlet, outlet, and return pipes.
- Si-T13: Infrared thermometer, used for measuring hot and cold spots on radiators to determine venting needs.
- Si-HH3: Thermo-hygrometer, suitable for measuring ambient air temperature and relative humidity, with the app providing psychometric parameters.
- Si-VV3: Vane thermo-anemometer, used for measuring air flow through system inlet and outlet grilles.
- Si-VH3: Hotwire thermo-anemometer, used for measuring air flow in pipes and temperature, particularly effective for low-velocity or laminar air flows.
- Si-CD3: Gas leak detector, designed to detect combustible gas leaks upstream of boiler burners.
- Si-RD3: Refrigerant leak detector, capable of detecting refrigerant leaks throughout the cooling circuit.
Many of these instruments can be paired with the user-friendly Si-HVACR Measurement MobileApp, which displays measurement data in real time on a smartphone or tablet.
Si-HVACR Measurement MobileApp
The Si-HVACR Measurement MobileApp enhances the functionality of Sauermann instruments by allowing users to:
- View parameters in a user-friendly format.
- Access previously saved measurements and charts (average, min. & max. values, etc.).
- Generate reports in PDF, CSV, or XML format and add up to four photos.
The instruments also feature a backlit LCD screen, low power consumption, and magnetic backing for easy fixing. A carrying bag is included with some models.
Applications
Sauermann devices are utilized in various HVACR applications:
- Measuring air velocity, flow rate, and temperature at grilles.
- Checking inlet and outlet temperatures for water heating and domestic hot water systems.
- Measuring differential pressure between filters in air treatment units.
- Measuring air velocity, flow rate, and temperature in pipes.
- Measuring ambient air temperature and relative humidity (calculating dew point and wet bulb temperature).
- Detecting refrigerant leaks from cooling units.
- Detecting combustible gas leaks upstream of boiler burners.
