Wiring the Speakers
Setup 1: Bluetooth Direct Connection (Models RS6GBT / RS8GBT)
This setup involves a Master Speaker and a Pairing Speaker. The Master Speaker requires a 110-240V AC power connection. A 5-meter (16.4 feet) Waterproof Audio Cable connects the Master Speaker to the Pairing Speaker.
- Determine the ideal location for the speakers, ensuring they are not directly exposed to the elements. For optimal stereo separation, place speakers between 8 to 12 feet apart.
- Position the Master Speaker near an AC outlet to supply power to its internal stereo power amplifier and Bluetooth receiver.
- Connect the Pairing Speaker to the Master Speaker using the provided Waterproof Audio Cable.
Setup 2: External Amplifier Connection (Models RS6G / RS8G)
For models RS6G and RS8G, an external amplifier is required (not included). Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before making connections. Use good quality speaker wire with polarity coding, suitable for outdoor or burial use. Use 16-gauge wire for up to 40 feet and 14-gauge wire for distances over 40 feet.
- Connect the positive (+) lead of the speaker wire to the red (+) speaker terminal on the speaker.
- Connect the negative (-) lead of the speaker wire to the black (-) speaker terminal on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the speaker wire to the respective positive (+) and negative (-) inputs on the external amplifier.
Initial Set-Up: Bluetooth Pairing
To set up and play music:
- Power on the outdoor Bluetooth Rock Speakers.
- On your iPhone, Android, or other Bluetooth device, turn on the Bluetooth function.
- Search for Bluetooth devices and select 'RS6' or 'RS8'.
- Touch the device name to connect automatically. Play music via your device (e.g., Android or iTunes).
- Control the volume using your Bluetooth device and enjoy.
Connect using a Smart Phone ?, Tablet ?, or Laptop/Computer ?️.

Herdio speaker products come with a 1-year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Proof of purchase is required for all claims. During the warranty period, Herdio will replace any defective part or correct any defect in workmanship at no charge for parts or labor.
