Quantum ES 2 Interface Features
The Quantum ES 2 is a high-performance audio interface featuring:
- 1. Input Meters: LED indicators displaying input signal levels.
- 2. Output Meters: LED indicators displaying output signal levels.
- 3. Sync LED: Indicates the synchronization status of the interface.
- 4. Push Knob with LED Base: A versatile rotary encoder with an integrated LED ring for visual feedback on settings.
- 5. Phantom Power: Engages +48V phantom power, essential for condenser microphones.
- 6. Auto Gain: Automatically sets optimal input gain levels for connected sources.
- 7. Channel Select: Allows selection of specific input channels for monitoring or processing.
- 8. Instrument Input: A dedicated input optimized for high-impedance sources like guitars and basses.
- 9. Mute / Dim: Buttons to quickly mute or reduce the volume of the main audio outputs.
- 10. Monitor Control: A knob to adjust the volume of the main monitor outputs.
- 11. Headphone Output: Standard jack for connecting headphones for monitoring.
- 12. Headphone Control: A knob to adjust the volume of the headphone output.
- 13. Kensington Slot: A security slot for attaching a Kensington lock to prevent theft.
