Televes 19"-Rack Cabinet 42RU 800x1000 mm

Product Overview

The Televes 42RU rack cabinet is designed for housing active or passive equipment. It features a robust, lockable steel structure that is visible from the outside and protected. This cabinet is compatible with optical fiber, data cables, and coaxial cable installations, allowing for the consolidation of various technologies. It is particularly suitable for GPON headends, offering a depth of up to 1000mm. The rack includes depth-adjustable side profiles for flexible panel and equipment installation. It is equipped with reversible and removable front and rear doors, with a tempered glass front door that allows monitoring of device status without opening the rack. Push-button removable side doors provide access to the rear for configuring connections. Designed for floor installation, it comes with 4 screw-on legs that allow height adjustment from 45 to 80mm, facilitating installation on inclined or uneven surfaces. The unit is supplied assembled.

Recommended Ventilation Systems

While all Televes racks are equipped with natural ventilation, it is often insufficient for high temperatures that can affect equipment performance. Therefore, installing a forced ventilation system is recommended. The available fans are designed for ceiling installation, leveraging the natural upward flow of warm air within the enclosure. The compatibility between specific racks and fans is detailed in the table above.
