Installation

Ensure that your DWR-953V2 LTE Cat4 Wi-Fi AC1200 Router is powered off before performing the steps below.

1. For LTE connection: Insert a standard USIM card into the SIM card slot on the side of the router.

   Note: Do not attempt to insert a Nano SIM or Micro SIM into the SIM card slot.

2. For modem connection: Insert one end of an Ethernet cable into the Gigabit WAN/LAN port on the back of the router and the other end into your wired Internet connection device.

   Note: By default, the LTE connection is used as the main WAN connection. The router will automatically use the wired connection if the LTE connection is not available.

3. Connect the supplied Ethernet cable to a LAN port on the back panel of the DWR-953V2 and to an available Ethernet port on your computer for configuration.
4. Connect the power adapter to the power input on the back panel of the DWR-953V2 LTE Cat4 Wi-Fi AC1200 Router. Plug the other end into a wall outlet or power strip and press the power button. The POWER LED will light up.
5. To configure the DWR-953V2: Open a web browser and enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar. Enter 'admin' for the username and leave the password blank.

Safety Precautions

• Read this section carefully before installation and connection.

• Install the device in a dry, clean, dust-free, and well-ventilated area, away from heat sources. Do not use outdoors or in areas with high humidity.

• Operating ambient temperature should be between 0°C and +40°C.
• Use only the supplied power adapter. Do not use if the adapter or cable is damaged. Plug into working outlets matching the adapter's specifications.
• Do not open the device casing.
• Disconnect power before cleaning. Remove dust with a damp cloth. Avoid liquid/aerosol cleaners or magnetic/static devices. Prevent moisture from entering the device or power adapter.

Storage and Transportation

• Storage and transportation are permitted only in the original factory packaging.
• Observe specified temperature and humidity conditions for storage.

Service Life and Warranty

• The service life of the device is 2 years.
• The warranty period is 1 year from the date of purchase from an authorized dealer in Russia and CIS countries.
• The warranty period cannot exceed 2 years from the manufacturing date, determined by the serial number (e.g., G=2016, H=2017, etc., and month codes).
• For malfunctions, contact the service center or D-Link technical support.
