Maverick RD-620 Digital Portable Radio
General Description
The Maverick RD-620 is an intelligent DMR migration radio designed for business users, including hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and construction projects, among others. In addition to all the conventional features of analog radios, this dual-mode radio offers a completely new set of digital functions, including two time slots, versatile calls, remote elimination/reactivation, and crystal-clear digital audio quality.
Highlights and Benefits
Compact and Lightweight
The reduced size and light weight allow the radio to be held comfortably without being a burden.
Manual Channel Editing
You can add/delete/edit channels on your radios without needing to connect them to a PC.
Priority Radio Interrupt
Allows radios with higher priority to interrupt communications from radios with lower priority to transmit or free up a channel for more critical communications, improving team efficiency.
Long Battery Life
The RD-600 surpasses conventional analog radios in duration (18 hours in digital mode, 14 hours in analog mode).
Programmable Automatic Roaming
On multi-site IP networks, this function allows the RD-600 radio to automatically move between sites and maintain connection, providing greater flexibility and efficiency.
Excellent Audio Quality
Superior digital audio quality is achieved thanks to the AMBE+2™ voice encoder and FEC technology.
Private, Group, and General Calls
Versatile call functions increase teamwork efficiency.
Pseudotroncal DMO
The Pseudotroncal DMO feature allows the user to choose between slot 1 or slot 2 for communications, significantly increasing frequency usage efficiency by automatically switching to a free slot when one is occupied.
Diagram: Pseudotroncal DMO
Description: This diagram illustrates two communication slots, SLOT 1 and SLOT 2. SLOT 1 is for voice (or data) call 1, and SLOT 2 is for voice (or data) call 2. SLOT 1 and SLOT 2 are automatically assigned to voice call 1 or voice call 2, respectively, allowing for efficient frequency use by switching to an available slot.
Mixed Digital/Analog Mode
Receive analog and digital signals on a single channel and automatically switch to the necessary mode for efficient communications.
Diagram: Mixed Digital/Analog Mode
Description: This diagram shows a radio receiving signals from both analog and digital sources, connected to a base station or repeater. It depicts a "Radio análogo" (Analog Radio) and "Modo digital DMR" (DMR Digital Mode) and "Modo FM analógico" (Analog FM Mode) indicating the radio's ability to handle both types of signals.
