Parts of the Tricycle
Before assembly, unpack and check all parts against the list. Keep packaging until assembly is complete.
Parts List (See Figure PD):
- F: Frame
- M: Front mudguard
- FL: Front light
- FF: Front fork
- FW: Front wheel
- HC: Hubcaps
- RW: Rear wheels
- RB: Rear basket
- FB: Front basket
- S: Seat
- H: Handlebar
- AP: Assisting parts for assembly
Assembly Steps
- Step 1: Attach one rear wheel to the rear part of the frame. Press until fixed. Place hubcap on the rear wheel and press until it clicks.
- Step 2: Repeat for the other rear wheel.
- Step 3: Attach the rear basket to the frame using a screw with cap.
- Step 4: Attach the seat to the frame. Align screws with openings and fix with the black cap nut.
- Step 5: Attach the front fork to the front wheel. Ensure pop-out buttons align with fork openings.
- Step 6: Slide the front fork through the front mudguard opening. Place a white bushing on top of the mudguard. Slide the fork into the front frame opening. Place a black bushing on top of the fork and press until fixed.
- Step 7: Attach the front basket to the top of the fork. Attach the handlebar to the top of the fork and fix with the red cap screw.
- Step 8: Place the front light on the handlebar and fix with screws. Hint: Install batteries in the front light compartment before attaching it.
Product Functions
Music Tray: Features buttons for melodies and lights. Requires 3 x 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (not included).
Battery Installation and Important Information
WARNING: Children should not be present during battery installation.
- Batteries are not included.
- Install 3 x AAA 1.5V batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
- Replace and secure the battery compartment cover with the screw.
- Batteries must be handled by an adult. Keep batteries away from children.
- Remove discharged batteries and dispose of them properly (recyclable).
- Use only AAA batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended.
- Remove batteries if the product will not be used for a long period.
- Always replace all batteries with new ones when replacing. Do not allow children to be present.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix battery types (alkaline, carbon-zinc, rechargeable).
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire, as they may leak or explode.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh detergents, alcohol, bleach, or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not spray water or liquids directly onto the tricycle.
- Regularly clean tires of sand and dust.
- Keep the tricycle clean.
Maintenance and Storage:
- Before each use, check that all parts and connections are secure and stable.
- Ensure wheels and handlebar are firmly attached and move freely.
- Do not use if any parts are loose, worn, or damaged.
- Periodically tighten screws and nuts. Warning: Do not overtighten to avoid breaking parts.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause discoloration.
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Regularly inspect the product for malfunctions, cracks, or missing parts. Discontinue use if damage is found and contact the seller.
Warnings and Recommendations for Safe Use
- Read and keep the manual for future reference.
- The tricycle complies with European Standard EN 71-1-2-3.
- Schemes and figures are illustrative; the product may differ.
- Intended for children aged 3-5 years.
- Maximum load capacity: 25 kg (child + luggage).
- Overloading may cause injury.
- Not for carrying more than one child.
- Use only under adult supervision.
- Never leave a child unattended on the tricycle.
- Protective equipment is recommended. Not for use in traffic.
- Adult assembly is required. Keep small children away during assembly.
- Warning: Contains small parts - risk of choking.
- Packaging materials are not toys. Remove before use.
- Do not allow children to play with packaging.
- Do not attach objects or strings to the tricycle that are not included; risk of injury.
- Correct assembly is crucial for safety.
- Use only as intended.
- Do not modify the tricycle; contact seller for repairs.
- Do not allow children to pull or push the toy.
- Keep away from heat sources.
- Use on even, safe ground only.
- Do not use on inclined surfaces, near stairs, pools, busy roads, rivers, hills, or escalators.
- Use during daylight hours only.
- Keep hands, feet, and body parts away from moving parts (wheels).
- Children must master skills before independent use. Use parental control handle if needed.
- Do not allow children to stand on the seat.
- Do not allow children to ride barefoot.
- Child must not hang feet over the sides.
- Not suitable for running or skating.
- Be aware of people and pets nearby.
- Avoid collisions with objects.
- Do not jump with the tricycle from curbs or other heights.
- Do not use in rainy weather.
- Rainy/wet weather may cause damage or rust. Keep away from water.
Warranty Terms
For Bulgarian Consumers Only
Moni Trade Ltd. provides a 24-month commercial warranty, reflecting confidence in the product's quality.
The product complies with applicable European safety and quality standards and is free from material and manufacturing defects at the time of purchase.
The warranty period is two years from the date of purchase, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
The seller is responsible for the product's conformity to the sales contract as per Articles 112-115 of the Consumer Protection Act.
Consumer Rights:
- Consumers can claim repair or replacement if the product does not conform to the contract.
- Repairs or replacements must be completed within one month.
- If conformity is not achieved, the consumer can cancel the contract and receive a refund or a price reduction.
- Conformity adjustments are free of charge for the consumer.
- Consumers can claim compensation for damages incurred due to non-conformity.
Warranty Exclusions:
- Failure to retain the sales receipt or invoice.
- Non-compliance with assembly, maintenance, or usage instructions.
- Improper or partial assembly.
- Surface damage from handling, transport, or storage.
- Damage due to negligent use, overloading, or improper storage.
- Use for purposes other than intended (e.g., testing, demonstrations, rentals).
- Repairs performed by unauthorized service centers.
- Modifications to the product's construction.
- Damage from parts or accessories not supplied with the product.
- Damage from external factors (natural disasters, impact, chemical exposure).
Parts subject to wear and tear (amortization) may incur repair costs even within the warranty period. These include: neoprene grips, safety bars, canopies, buttons, caps, zippers, belts, buckles, plastic buttons, caps, broken canopies, baskets, and upholstery. Tires are also not covered if cracked, cut, or worn.
To submit a warranty claim:
- Clean the product and pack it securely, preferably in original packaging.
- Include a copy of the sales receipt/invoice and the warranty card.
- Provide a description of the defect or problem.
Claim Process:
- Claims are registered by the seller.
- Conformity adjustments are free for valid claims.
- If a claim is unfounded, shipping costs are borne by the consumer.
- If the product has multiple defects or is not repaired correctly, the consumer may be entitled to a refund or replacement.
- The maximum time for defect resolution is one month from the claim date.
Important Note: The commercial warranty does not affect the consumer's statutory rights.
