Adding the Device via QR Code
Follow these steps to add your SNZB-06P device:
- Power on the device: Connect the sensor to a power source using the Type-C cable.
- Enter "scan QR code" mode: On your smartphone, open the eWeLink app, navigate to the device list, and tap 'Add Device', then select 'Scan'.
- Scan the QR code on the device: Point your smartphone's camera at the QR code located on the SNZB-06P sensor.
- Select "Add Device": Once the QR code is recognized, tap 'Add Device' on your smartphone screen to complete the process.
Adding the Device via Button Pairing
Alternatively, you can pair the device using the button:
- Long press the button for 5 seconds: Press and hold the button on the SNZB-06P until the LED indicator starts flashing slowly.
- The LED indicator flashes slowly for 180s: This indicates the device is in pairing mode.
- Select Zigbee gateway: In the eWeLink app, select your Zigbee gateway from the list and proceed to the next step.
- Wait until the addition is done: The app will search for and add the device. A confirmation message will appear once the addition is complete.
Matched Gateways
The SNZB-06P is compatible with the following gateways:
- SONOFF Gateways: ZBBridge, ZBBridge-P, NSPanel PRO, AIBridge, ZBDongel-P, ZBDongel-E.
- Third-party compatible gateway models: Amazon Gateway Models like Echo Plus 2nd, Echo Show 2nd.
- Other gateways supporting the ZigBee 3.0 wireless protocol are also compatible. Detailed information may vary based on the final product.
*Note: The device may display as a human motion sensor on certain gateways.
Effective Communication Distance Verification
When the device is installed in the desired location, press the pairing button. If the LED indicator flashes twice, it signifies that the device and the Zigbee network (router or hub) are within effective communication distance.
Installation
Choose the most suitable installation method for your environment:
- Place on the desktop: Position the sensor on a flat surface.
- Attached to the metal surface with the magnetic base: Utilize the magnetic base to attach the sensor to any metallic surface.
- Stick to the wall with 3M adhesive of the base: Apply the included 3M adhesive tape to the base and affix it to a wall.
- Base screws fixed to the wall: For a more secure mounting, use the provided screws to fix the base to the wall.
Detection Zone
The radar's radial detection distance is approximately 4 meters.

Cautions
- Keep moving objects such as curtains, greenery, fans, and pets away from the sensor during installation to prevent misjudgments of nearby presence.
- Non-metallic materials like glass, plastic, ceramics, and plank can be pierced through by the sensor's detection signal.
- When installing multiple sensors, orient them in the same direction or back-to-back to avoid front-to-front irradiation. Ensure each sensor is placed more than 1.5 meters away from others.
