Navigation Controls Power/Mode button: Press and hold to turn your radio on. Press and hold to turn to standby mode - to switch off fully, press and hold the button again. Press (do not hold) to enter the mode selection screen.
Menu button: Press and hold button to enter radio setting options.
OK/Lock button: Press button to confirm selections. Press and hold to lock and unlock radio buttons. Preset button: Press and hold to add preset stations. Press button to recall preset stations.

Basic Operation
Please note that all (Ref.) refer to the Controls and Functions mapping guide on pages 2-3.
Ensure that the radio is charged before use. You can charge the radio with the supplied power cable. Insert the power cable into the micro USB port (Ref.6). Press and hold the Power/Mode button (Ref.7) to switch the radio on. Whilst the radio loads up, "Majority" will display on the radio screen. Ensure that the earphones are connected to your radio (Ref.8) and fully extended as these act as the antenna. On first use of the radio, a DAB/DAB+ station scan will automically begin searching for available stations. After the search has completed, the available DAB stations will display. 6

Instructions Guide Standby and Switching Off You can place the radio into standby mode or switch off the radio via the Power/Mode button (Ref.7) To place into standby, press and hold the Power/Mode button once and a Standby screen will display, followed by a clock display screen shortly after. This will also lock all buttons except for the Power/Mode button. To switch on again from Standby, press (do not hold) the Power/Mode button (Ref.7). To switch off the radio completely, press and hold the Power/Mode button (Ref.7) once to go into Standby mode, followed by pressing and holding the Power/ Mode button again to switch off the radio completely.

Instructions Guide Selecting Modes Ensure that your chosen earphones are connected to your radio and fully extended so that the best signal is being received before selecting modes. Press (do not hold) the Power/Mode button (Ref.7) to go to the mode selection screen, where the following modes will display: DAB and FM. Use the Previous and Next buttons (Ref.3/5) to scroll between the available modes. To select your desired mode, press the OK button (Ref.4). If you select DAB mode, the available stations from the autoscan will display.

DAB/DAB+ Radio Mode Press the Power/Mode button (Ref.7) to go to the mode selection screen and select DAB mode. Ensure that your chosen earphones are connected to your radio and fully extended so that the best signal is being received. To auto scan (if it hasn't automatically or shows no signal), press and hold the Menu button (Ref.2) and use the Next button (Ref.5) to scroll to the "Auto Tune" option. Select option with the OK button (Ref.4). The radio will then begin autoscanning and save stations with a strong signal. These will display as a list. To listen to any of the stations that have been saved with strong signal, use the the Previous/Next buttons (Ref.3/5) to scroll through available stations. Select your chosen station by pressing the OK button (Ref.4).

DAB/DAB+ Preset Option How to preset a radio station Up to 10 stations can be preset for easy navigation. To store a station that you are currently playing: Press and hold the Preset button (Ref.11) and the `Preset Store' screen will display. Use the Previous/Next buttons (Ref.3/5) to scroll to the preset number you would like to save the station as. Confirm your selection by pressing the OK button (Ref.4). Recalling your preset radio stations Press the Preset button (Ref.11) (do not hold button) to open the `Preset Recall' screen. Use the Previous/Next buttons (Ref.3/5) to scroll to the preset number you would like to play. Confirm your selection by pressing the OK button (Ref.4).

Instructions Guide DAB/DAB+ Station Information
Press the Menu button (Ref.2) repeatedly to show the programme information: Dynamic Label Segment (DLS): Displays text information supplied by the broadcaster. PTY (Programme Type): Shows the type and description of the programme provided by the DAB station. Frequency: Displays the station frequency. Signal Strength: Displays signal error and strength of the current station. Bit Rate, Codec and Channels: The data rate which the signal is being transmitted. Date: Displays the date set on the unit.

FM Radio Mode
Press the Power/Mode button (Ref.7) to go to the mode selection screen and select FM radio mode. Ensure that the earphones are plugged in and fully extended. The first time you use FM mode, the FM frequency "87.5 MHz" will display on the screen. To autoscan to the next available station, press and hold the Next button (Ref.5) To autoscan down the bandwidth, press and hold the Previous button (Ref.3). To search slowly through the bandwidth, press the Previous or Next buttons repeatedly (do not hold). Stereo/Mono Press the Menu button (Ref.2) and scroll to the `Stereo' option with the Next button. Select the option with the OK button (Ref.4). Select the `Forced Mono' or `Stereo Allowed' option. 12

Instructions Guide Setting `All Stations' or `Strong Stations' Press the Menu button (Ref.2) and scroll to the `Scan setting' option with the Next button. Select the option with the OK button. The screen will then display: "Strong Stations Only" with options of "Yes" or "No". Use the Previous or Next buttons to highlight (in blue) the option you wish to select. Select your chosen option with the OK button (Ref.4).

Instructions Guide Radio Settings Open the menu settings by pressing and holding the Menu button (Ref.2). Using the Previous and Next buttons (Ref.3/5), scroll to the `Settings' option and select it with the OK button (Ref.4). The following options will display: Language: Select the radio chosen language: English, French, German and Italian. Factory Reset: Select option for a factory reset. To confirm the reset, select "YES". Info: Select to view the software version. Sleep: Set up a sleep timer to switch the radio off after the period of time set. Use the Previous and Next buttons to scroll through available sleep timer lengths: Off, 15, 30, 45, 60, or 75 minutes.

Settings: Backlight Open the menu settings by pressing and holding the Menu button (Ref.2). Using the Previous and Next buttons (Ref.3/5), scroll to the `Backlight' option and select it with the OK button. The following options will display: Timeout
Select the option to choose the backlight display timeout. The screen will darken after the period of time selected. The timeout options are the following: On, 10 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 and 180. On Level Select this option to choose the on level screen brightness. The brightness options are High, Medium or Low. 16

Settings: Clock Open the menu settings by pressing and holding the Menu button (Ref.2). Using the Previous and Next buttons (Ref.3/5), scroll to the `Clock' option and select it with the OK button. The following options will display: Set Time/Date: The date will flash for you to set. Use the Previous and Next buttons to change the day, and select the OK button to confirm your choice. Once the date is set, the time will flash for editing. Auto Update: Select Auto Update or No Update. Selecting Auto Update will allow the date to be automatically set from the radio signal. Set 12/24 Hour: Set the clock format as 12 or 24 hour. Set Date Format: Choose the display date format.

Instructions Guide Dual Alarm Settings Open the menu settings by pressing and holding the Menu button (Ref.2). Using the Previous and Next buttons (Ref.3/5), scroll to the `Settings' option and select it with the OK button. In the settings options, select the `Alarm' option to begin setting alarms. The option to set `Alarm 1' or `Alarm 2' will display. Select the alarm that you wish to set. The following options will then display for personalising your alarm: Source: Select the regularity of your alarm. Choose between: Off, Daily, Once, Weekends or Weekdays. Time: Change the time and minutes of the alarm using the Previous and Next buttons. Once the alarm hour is set, confirm by pressing the select button. The minutes will now flash for selection. Press the OK button once the correct alarm minute displays.

Instructions Guide Alarm Mode: Select the alarm tone that you would like to sound. Choose between Buzzer, DAB or FM. Select your option with the OK button. Alarm volume: Select the volume that you would like the alarm to sound. Select your option with the OK button.

Instructions Guide Charging Ensure that the radio is charged before use. You can charge the radio with the supplied power cable and plug into a computer or a compatible plug (not included). Insert the power cable into the micro USB port (Ref.6) of the radio to begin charging. A full charge will take approximately 2 hours. The radio includes an internal re-chargeable battery with up to 11.5 hours battery life. The battery level is shown on the display, and it is advised to fully charge the battery before removing from charge. The radio should be recharged at first opportunity once the battery level is at minimum charge.

Malfunction No power/function

Possible causes/measures Ensure that the radio is fully charged. Switch on the radio by pressing and holding the Power button.

No sound or radio interference

Ensure that earphones are plugged into the radio and fully extend the earphone cable. Rescan for available stations via the Menu button.

Functionality issues

Go to the radio settings and select the option for a factory reset.

Displaying "F/W Update Mode"

This will happen when the Power button and Preset button are pressed down together. To switch this off, please insert a pin into the preset port at the back of the unit.

Once on the web page, use the menu to find "Register Your Product". You will also be given the chance to extend your warranty for an additional 24 months, free of charge.
