PROFESSIONAL PUBLIC ADDRESS D-CLASS INTEGRATION MIXER-AMPLIFIER
General Information
The CVGAUDIO NEXT T-lite is a series of compact professional public address mixer-amplifiers designed for commercial background sound and announcement systems. The series includes four models with power ratings of 40W/100V, 80W/100V, 120W/100V, and 240W/100V. Low-impedance connection is not provided in these models. All models in the series operate in Class D.
The amplifiers feature two selective line inputs (AUX1 / AUX2), the ability to connect an external remote universal signal source (e.g., MP3/FLAC player, Bluetooth, FM tuner) with a volume control, and one universal microphone input with phantom power capability and priority activation over line inputs. With active priority, the signal attenuation level can be controlled from full muting to mixing. A separate two-band graphic equalizer is provided for line and microphone inputs.
The amplifier has a compact metal housing with an aluminum front panel. Volume controls for microphone and line inputs, when pressed, sit flush with the front panel.
The standard CVGAUDIO NEXT T-lite package includes two brackets for easy wall mounting, securing on a horizontal surface, under a tabletop, or on the ceiling. The amplifier housing height is standard 1U. Brackets for rack mounting are optional (mounting holes are provided on the chassis).
For integration with emergency fire alarm systems, EXT.MUTE contacts are available. The contact is 'normally open'; when closed, the broadcast is interrupted.
Amplifier Installation Rules
- Ventilation openings for cooling the output stage heatsink must be unobstructed. Nothing should impede free air circulation.
- When choosing an installation location, avoid areas with poor ventilation, restricted air circulation, or high ambient temperatures.
- Do not connect the amplifier to the mains power supply if the power cord is damaged or worn.
- Use grounded electrical outlets.
- Observe polarity when connecting loudspeaker systems and ensure the amplifier's rated power matches the connected load (maximum total loudspeaker system power for T-lite 40 = 40W/100V; T-lite 80 = 80W/100V; T-lite 120 = 120W/100V; T-lite 240 = 240W/100V).
- Connecting low-impedance (4ohm/8ohm/16ohm) speakers to NEXT T-lite series amplifiers is prohibited. The amplifiers are compatible only with 100V line transformer speakers.
Warranty Obligations
Subject to compliance with all the above installation and operation rules, all CVGAUDIO NEXT T-lite series amplifier models are provided with a free warranty service period of 1 year from the date of purchase by the end customer. Information about service centers can be found on the company's website.
ATTENTION: To prevent electrical shock, do not remove covers. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel only.

Safety Warning: НЕ ВСКРЫВАТЬ КОРПУС ПРИ ВКЛЮЧЕННОМ ЭЛЕКТРОПИТАНИИ (~220V, 50Hz) - Do not open the case while the power is on.
Amplifier Connection
Connections for External Devices:
- Active Subwoofer / Zonal Amplifier / Other Active Audio Devices: Connect to PREAMP OUT.
- Volume Control from External Remote Control: Use the EXT-VOL connector (15) and activate via DIP-switch (14.3). Requires two conductors.
- External Fire Alarm System: Connect to ALARM EXT.MUTE terminals (9). The system uses 'normally open' contacts. When closed, the amplifier's audio output is muted.
- Sound Source 1 & 2: Connect to AUX1 INPUT (3) and AUX2 INPUT (2) respectively.
- Paging Microphone: Connect to MIC INPUT (16).
- NVC Volume Control: Connects via EXT-VOL (15).
- NVC-SRC Volume Control + MP3/BT/FM Signal Source: Connects via CAT5E/CAT6 cable (max 50m) to AUX1 INPUT (3) and EXT-VOL (15). Provides balanced mono signal and volume control.
- N-SRC MP3/BT/FM Signal Source: Connects via CAT5E/CAT6 cable (max 50m) to AUX1 INPUT (3). Provides balanced mono signal.
- DC 12V Power Supply for Signal Source: Provided via 12V OUT (17) for compatible devices.
Connecting Remote Panels:
External remote volume control panels and panels with a universal signal source can be used with NEXT series amplifiers. The maximum recommended distance is 50 meters. CAT5E/CAT6 'twisted pair' cable is recommended for simultaneous transmission of power, audio signal, and volume control.
Only one volume control (NVC) or one universal panel (NVC-SRC) can be connected at a time. Two panels with signal sources cannot be used simultaneously.
Possible connection options:
- NVC volume control only.
- NVC-SRC universal panel with volume control and signal source only.
- N-SRC signal source panel only.
- NVC volume control plus N-SRC signal source panel.
To enable remote volume control, activate DIP-switch #3 (ON - upper position) on the rear panel. The external signal source on a remote panel is effectively connected to AUX1 input. It is recommended not to connect other signal sources to AUX1 when using remote panels with signal sources.
The amplifier has two selective unbalanced line inputs (AUX1/AUX2). Only one can be active at a time, selected via buttons on the front panel. AUX1 is activated by default upon power-up.
The microphone input can accommodate dynamic or condenser/electret microphones. Phantom power and priority activation are configurable via DIP-switch (14). If priority is active, line inputs are muted when a signal is present on the microphone input. The attenuation level is adjusted by the PRIORITY MUTE control (12).
Dual-band equalizers are provided separately for line and microphone inputs for frequency correction.
The PREAMP OUT linear output is used for connecting additional zonal amplifiers, active subwoofers, recording devices, etc. The signal level at this output is affected by all preamplifier controls (MUSIC/SPEAK volume, input gain controls, EQ settings).
The EXT.MUTE contact pair is essential for public spaces, integrating the local music system with the global fire alarm system. When activated by a fire alarm module, it mutes the background music to ensure emergency announcements are clear.
Connecting Loudspeaker Systems to the Amplifier
NEXT-T series amplifiers are designed exclusively for 100V line transformer loudspeaker systems. All connected loudspeakers must be wired in parallel. Multiple branches are permissible, but within each branch and between branches, loudspeakers must be connected in parallel.
The total power of all connected loudspeaker systems must not exceed the amplifier's rated power:
- CVGAUDIO NEXT T-LITE 40: Max 40W/100V
- CVGAUDIO NEXT T-LITE 80: Max 80W/100V
- CVGAUDIO NEXT T-LITE 120: Max 120W/100V
- CVGAUDIO NEXT T-LITE 240: Max 240W/100V
Exceeding the power threshold will result in amplifier failure.
Connect the loudspeaker cables to the amplifier's 100V/COM output. Ensure correct polarity: the COM terminals of the loudspeakers must connect to the amplifier's COM output, and the selected power tap terminals on the loudspeakers must connect to the amplifier's 100V output.
Convenient screw terminals are provided at the output, accommodating cables up to 2.5mm² in cross-section.
