Introduction
This rice cooker provides a simple and quick method for perfectly cooking rice. The Warm function automatically keeps the rice hot, soft, and ready to serve for several hours. The capacity of the rice cooker allows for economical rice preparation for a family, for a party, or for storage in the freezer.
Before First Use
Wash the inner pot, lid, measuring cup, and spatula in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Clean the base with a clean, damp cloth. Dry well. Do not use strong detergents or abrasive cleaners on any part of the appliance. Never immerse the base in water or any other liquid.
How to Cook Rice
Before each use, ensure the exterior of the pot's inner container is clean and dry. Check that the heat sensor in the center of the base interior is clean, dry, and cool. Handle the inner pot with care; scratching or denting the pot may result in unsatisfactory performance.
Note: There are differing opinions on whether rice should be washed before cooking. Proponents argue it removes starch content and ensures non-stick grains. Opponents feel valuable soluble vitamins and minerals are lost. Drier, softer rice is obtained by washing before cooking.
- Measure the rice and water, place them evenly in the pot (refer to the rice cooking table).
- Never place any liquid in the base.
- Place the pot with the rice in the base of the cooker and ensure it is seated correctly.
- Close by placing the lid.
- Plug the cord into a 220-240V outlet. Press the switch, and the red light will illuminate. The cooking switch will not stay pressed unless the pot is placed correctly: this is a safety feature of this rice cooker.
- Wait 20 minutes for the rice to finish cooking, then stir with the spatula.
- Unplug the rice cooker before removing the lid and the pot from the base.
- If the rice needs to be kept warm, leave the rice cooker plugged in and replace the lid after stirring.
- If using unwashed rice, a thin layer of starch may form at the bottom of the pot: this is quite normal and can be mixed with the rice when stirred, as it does not affect flavor or texture.

Tips:
If other ingredients have been added to the rice, do not leave the keep-warm function on for more than one hour to avoid flavor loss.
Cleaning and Maintenance
After each use, the inner pot, lid, measuring cup, and spatula should be washed with warm, soapy water. Do not use strong detergents, abrasive cleaners, or metal scouring pads. Rinse and dry carefully. If rice is stuck to the bottom of the pot, fill it with warm, soapy water and let it soak for about 10 minutes. Clean the base of the pot with a clean, damp cloth. Dry it well.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, use only the removable pot for cooking. If water accidentally enters the switch mechanism or spills onto the heating plate, carefully unplug the power cord from the outlet. Let it dry completely before using the pot again. All repairs must be performed by an official technical service center.
