88104 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Please read carefully and save these instructions as you may need them a later date. CAUTION WARNING: Risk of Fire. Consult a qualified electrician to ensure correct branch circuit conductor. Turn off the main power at the circuit breaker before installing the fixture in order to prevent possible shock. GENERAL All electrical connections must be in accordance with local and National Electrical Code (N.E.C.) standards. If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections obtain the services of a qualified electrician. ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION 1. Attach one quick link (11) onto loop of fixture body. Determine desired hanging height of fixture. Cut chain (12) to length to achieve desired height.Attach chain link at end of chain (12) onto quick link (11) on loop of fixture body .Weave fixture wires through chain (12), skipping every other chain link. Slide screw collar ring (14) and canopy (13) down over end of chain (12) and fixture wires. 2. Carefully pull house wires through center hole in mounting bar (6).Secure mounting bar (6) to outlet box (1) with box screw (7). Thread screw collar loop (10) onto nipple (9) of mounting bar (6). Use quick link (11) to connect screw collar loop (10) and the top of chain (12). 3. Pull out the outlet wire and ground wire from outlet box (1). Make wire connections with wire nut (5) . --Ribbed wire (w/o marking) or white wire from light to White wire(2)from power source. --Smooth wire (w marking) or black wire from light to Black wire(3) from power source. --Ground wires from fixture to power source and tie to mounting bar (6) with a ground screw (8). 4. Raise canopy (13) up to ceiling. Pass hole in canopy (13) over screw collar loop (10). Position canopy (13) up against ceiling. Screw the screw collar ring (14) onto screw collar loop (10). Tighten screw collar ring (14) to secure fixture to ceiling. 5. Put the tube cover(15) onto the top of candelabra tube. ( optional) 6. Screw recommended bulb (E12 Candelabra bulb type, not included) into socket. Verify correct bulb wattage marked on socket of fixture. WARNING: DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage. 7.Turn on the power.
