Care and Storage
Transporting Your Camera
The Matterport Pro3 Camera is sensitive and carefully calibrated. Always transport your camera in a padded carrying bag or case and handle with care. If traveling by air, we recommend keeping the camera in your carry-on luggage.
Lens Care
Treat your Pro3 Camera lens as you would DSLR lenses. To remove fingerprints, use camera lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth. Always clean by first dusting the lens, then applying cleaner to the cloth (not directly to the lens). The spinning mirror requires the same care.
Storage and Temperature
Do not use or leave your Pro3 at very high temperatures. The battery performance will be degraded and its service life will be decreased. The camera should be stored at room temperature with the battery removed.
Safety Precautions
Stability
Always ensure that the camera is operated correctly on a flat and stable surface. Personal injury or camera damage may result if your Pro3 overturns.
General Use
Do not open or disassemble the camera. The camera contains no user-serviceable parts inside. Only use equipment and accessories recommended by Matterport, and follow the setup instructions in this guide.

Rotating Mirror
The rotating mirror spins at high speeds both during a scan and for a short period after. For your personal protection and to avoid damage to your Pro3, keep hands, hair, or any other objects at a safe distance from the mirror unit while it's rotating.
