EX8 Quick Start Guide
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the EX8 LDARC system transmitter. This transmitter is suitable for all types of fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, boats, multi-rotors, cars, and more. The system is versatile and can be used by beginners and professionals. To ensure the correct and safe use of this product, please read this instruction manual carefully before use. The information contained in this manual is subject to change without notice.
Safety Instructions
Many transmitter models are equipped with powerful motors and sharp propellers. Use caution when operating models. When assembling or maintaining, make sure the model is powered off and the propeller is removed.
Do not operate the EX8 transmitter under the following conditions:
- In severe weather or strong wind conditions, such as rain, hail, snow, storms, or electromagnetic environments.
- Under any circumstances where visibility is limited.
- In areas where people, property, high-voltage power lines, public roads, vehicles, or animals may be present.
- If you feel tired or unwell, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- If the transmitter model appears to be damaged or not working properly.
- In areas where 2.4 GHz interference is high or where 2.4 GHz radios are prohibited.
- When the battery voltage is too low to use.
- In areas where local regulations prohibit the use of aviation models.
Warning
Please check the voltage and condition of the battery regularly. Never charge it unattended. Always charge it in a safe area away from combustible materials, and do not charge the remote control if it gets wet or is damaged in any way.
Note: Please connect the battery to the transmitter before use.

Function Keys
The EX8 transmitter features several key components:
- Joysticks: Left joystick controls Throttle & Rudder; Right joystick controls Pitch & Aileron.
- Switches: Labeled 6CH SA, 7CH SC, 8CH SD, and another switch labeled SB.
- Display: LCD display.
- Controls: ON/OFF button, Select/OK button.

Main Menu Operations
The Select/OK button is used to navigate and confirm menu selections. Scroll to select a menu item, and long or short press to confirm.
Trainer Locking Mode
Long press on the main menu page to enter the trainer lock mode. Selected items will appear in reverse color. Long press again to exit.

User Name
Select 'EX8-LDARC' on the main menu page to enter the user name setting. Use the 'Select/Confirm' key to set the user name. The screen displays available characters including symbols, numbers, and uppercase letters.

Timer
Press the timer display (00:00) from the main menu to enter the timer setting page. Options include:
- TIMER ON/OFF
- WARNING ON/OFF
- RESET SWD/OFF
- TIME 03 Min
- THR SET

Protocol & Power
Press the relevant option in the main menu to enter the setting page. Modify the protocol type and transmitting power using the 'Select and Confirm' button. This also allows activation of the remote control to adjust the frequency mode.

Trim
Select the throttle, rudder, pitch, or aileron trim menu and press to enter the setting page to adjust the respective trims. The trim value will be displayed during adjustment.
Sub Menu
Press the designated button from the main menu to enter the sub-menu settings.
- Monitor: Monitor the rudder capacity and the forward/reverse direction of the control sticks.
- Reverse: Select the channel that needs to be reversed. The channel value will be displayed in reverse color. Short press to complete the reverse setting.
- RGB Setting: Set the color, brightness, and display mode of the atmosphere lamp. 'R' represents red, 'G' represents green, 'B' represents blue. In the MODE menu, 'DYNAMIC' indicates a dynamic mode, while 'NORMAL' indicates a standard light without dynamic effects.
- LCD Setting: Adjust 'CONTRAST', 'BRIGHTNESS', 'Backlight TIMEOUT', and 'DARK MODE'.
- TX Setting:
- Stick Mode: Select 'Stick' and press to choose between 'Mode1' and 'Mode2'.
- Calibration (CALI): Long press to enter the remote stick calibration page. Set the remote sticks to the neutral position, then select 'SET' and short press to move the sticks to their maximum extent. Once completed, short press 'SET' again.
- Version (Ver): Version information is displayed (e.g., 10602-LDA). Select 'SET' to restore factory settings. A pop-up window will prompt for confirmation ('YES'). After a factory reset, recalibrate the neutral position of the remote sticks.

Bind
S-FH2S Bind: Power on the TX, then power on the AC940 receiver while pressing its bind key. A fast blinking green LED on the receiver indicates bind mode. Release the key. A solid green LED on the receiver signifies successful binding. The brightness of the receiver's green LED indicates signal strength.
D16 non-EU and D16 EU-LBT Bind: Power off the TX. Power on the AC940 receiver while pressing its bind key. A fast blinking green LED on the receiver indicates bind mode. Release the key. Set the TX to bind mode. A solid red LED on the receiver signifies successful binding. The TX needs to exit bind mode. The brightness of the receiver's green LED indicates signal strength.
