The MAVIC™ 3 features Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing, an Infrared Sensing System, and a fully stabilized 3-axis gimbal with both telephoto and wide camera that can shoot up to 5.2K video and 20-megapixel photos. DJI signature technologies such as Obstacle Avoidance and Intelligent Flight Modes like HyperLapse, ActiveTrack, QuickShot, Panorama, and Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems, help you capture complex shots effortlessly.

Remote Controller
The DJI Smart Controller V2.0 features O3, the latest version of DJI's signature OCUSYNCTM image transmission technology, and can transmit a live HD view from the camera of an aircraft at a distance of up to 15 km. Users can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or by using a 4G dongle and the Android operating system comes with a variety of functions such as Bluetooth and GNNS.
The built-in 5.5-in high brightness 1000 cd/m2 screen boasts a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels while the remote controller comes with a wide range of aircraft and gimbal controls as well as customizable buttons and has a maximum operating time of 3 hours.

Download the DJI Fly App and watch tutorial videos to get started.
Charging the Batteries: Connect the battery to the charger and then to a power source.
Checking Battery Levels and Powering On/Off
Checking Battery Level: Press the power button once to check the battery level.
Powering On/Off: Press the power button once, then press and hold to turn the device on or off.
Preparing the Aircraft
- Unfold the front arms and the propellers.
- Unfold the rear arms and the propellers.
- Match the propellers to motors. Press the propellers down firmly and rotate in the lock direction. Ensure propellers are correctly attached (marked propellers go on motors marked with a white dot, unmarked propellers go on motors without a white dot).
Note: Unfold the front arms and propellers before the rear ones. All arms and propellers must be unfolded before takeoff.
Preparing the Remote Controller
- Remove the control sticks from the storage slots and attach them to the remote controller.
- Unfold the antennas. Ensure the antennas are positioned correctly for optimal signal.
Note: Ensure the control sticks are firmly mounted.
Preparing for Takeoff
- Power on the remote controller.
- Power on the aircraft.
- Launch the DJI Fly App on your mobile device.
Flight
Auto Takeoff / Landing
Use the Auto Takeoff and Auto Landing features for convenient flight operations.
Manual Takeoff / Landing
To start/stop motors: Use the combination stick command.
To take off: Push the left stick up slowly.
To land: Push the left stick down slowly until the aircraft touches the ground.
To stop motors after landing: Hold the left stick down for a few seconds.
Remote Controller Operation:

- Down: Descend
- Left: Turn Left (Yaw Left)
- Right: Turn Right (Yaw Right)
Right Stick:
- Up: Move Forward
- Down: Move Backward
