This guide provides essential information for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your KTC H32T13 LCD Monitor.

Product Introduction

The KTC H32T13 is a high-performance intelligent multiple frequency scanning display. It features an active matrix thin-film transistor LED-backlit LCD panel controlled by microcomputer MCU digital technology. Its compact and lightweight design makes it suitable for narrow working spaces.

Signal Cable and Headset Connection

Signal Cable Connection: Connect the signal cable (HDMI or DP) from your PC's output port to the corresponding input port on the LCD monitor.

Headset Connection: Connecting a headset provides audio output and also supports external loudspeakers.

Base and Wall Mount Installation

1. Installing the Base:

  1. Insert the base into the designated hole position and secure it with two screws.
  2. Lock the pillar with a screw and cover the back of the base.
  3. Install the chassis into the hole position and secure it with a screw.

2. Removing the Base:

  1. Undo the screw on the chassis.
  2. Undo the screw and open the cover on the base.
  3. Undo the screw on the monitor.

Wall Mounting: Use M4 screws with a 100x100mm VESA mounting pattern. The recommended screw length is 8mm. If you require a wall mounting bracket, it must be purchased separately.

Installation Guide and Ventilation

Ensure adequate space around the display for ventilation, as illustrated in the diagrams. Do not cover ventilation holes or insert objects into the shell. Avoid placing the display in confined spaces like book cabinets without proper ventilation. Maintain at least 10cm clearance around the display.

Ventilation is affected if the space is not maintained.

Important Installation Notes:

Power Indicator

Blue Indicator: Indicates proper functioning of the display.

Red Flash Indicator: Indicates no signal state.

In energy-saving mode, the display will resume normal operation when a signal is provided. The display remains powered on in standby mode. Unplug the power cord when not in use for safety.

Simple Problems Disposal

Symptom Disposal Methods
Blank screen / Power indicator does not work Check power supply connection to the display and socket. Ensure the display is turned on.
Blurred too large or too small images Go to "Image Settings" and select "Image Auto Adjust" for automatic correction (VGA only).
Dark screen Adjust "Brightness & Contrast" settings in the menu.
Display overheating Ensure at least 10cm of ventilated space around the display. Do not place objects on the display.
Dark/light spots when powered on This is normal due to initial uneven light emission from the backlight. Spots should disappear after about 20 minutes of operation.
Image distortion, flashing, shaking Check PC configuration, select the correct resolution, and reset the refresh rate.
Noisy signal when powered off This may be due to normal discharge during power-off.

Safety Protection

If the PC video signal exceeds the display's frequency range, the display will disable sync signals to protect itself. Adjust the PC's output frequency to an acceptable range for proper operation.

Important Safety Precautions

  1. Read all instructions carefully before use.
  2. Unplug the power cord before cleaning. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Use LCD screen cleaner for stubborn stains.
  3. Use only manufacturer-recommended accessories.
  4. Hold the power plug, not the cord, when unplugging.
  5. Keep the display away from water and moisture. Do not press the screen with fingers or hard objects.
  6. Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not block ventilation holes or place the display near heat sources or in embedded devices without proper ventilation.
  7. Use only the specified power supply type.
  8. Ensure the three-prong plug is used with a properly grounded socket for safety.
  9. Do not attempt to repair the display yourself. Contact qualified personnel for servicing.
  10. Unplug the power cord and contact qualified personnel if the power cord/plug is damaged, the display is dropped, or shows obvious abnormalities.
  11. Place the display in a well-ventilated environment away from strong light, high temperature, or humidity.
  12. Store the display within the specified temperature range (-20°C to 55°C) to prevent permanent damage.
  13. Handle the monitor screen with care as it is fragile.
