Charge It First!

While reading through the manual, you can start to charge your GT3000 with the car charger provided or a wall charger. Please note that the wall adapter is not supplied for environmental protection purposes, but you can charge it with the wall adapter that comes with your smartphone.

Warning

This unit is for vehicles (equipment) with 12V batteries. It may be dangerous if it is used with other types of batteries. Read and understand the safety information before using the jump starter. Failure to follow the safety information may cause damage to the jump starter, and may also result in electric shock, explosions, fire, property damage, and personal injury.

Product Parts and Functions Description

The GOOLOO GT3000 jump starter features several components:

• 1. Display Screen: Shows battery status, charging information, and error messages.
• 2. USB-C In/Out Port (PD100W Max): For charging the jump starter or powering compatible devices with up to 100W Power Delivery.
• 3. USB1 Out Port (QC3.0, 5V/9V/12V): Supports Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging of compatible devices.
• 4. USB2 Out Port (5V/2.4A): Standard USB output for charging various devices.
• 5. DC Out Port (15V/10A, Max 150W): Powers 12V devices via a cigarette lighter socket adapter.
• 6. Power Button: Press for 1-2 seconds to power on the jump starter. Press and hold for about 10 seconds to force shutdown.
• 7. BOOST Button: Press for 1-2 seconds to force output. The 'READY' indicator will appear on the screen.
• 8. 12V Battery Clamps Output: Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle battery. DO NOT press the BOOST button before connecting the clamps correctly.
• 9. LED Light: Turn on the unit by pressing the power button for 1-2 seconds. Press the power button again for 1-2 seconds to cycle through LED light modes (Normal, Strobe, SOS, Off).

Display Screen Instructions

The display screen provides real-time information:

• 1. Battery Power Percentage: Indicates the current charge level of the jump starter (charge/standby/discharge).
• 2. Low Current Mode: Supports charging devices requiring low current (e.g., headphones, smartwatches). Activate by pressing the POWER and BOOST buttons simultaneously for 2-3 seconds.
• 3. '+' and '-' Poles of Battery Clips Reversed: Indicates if the battery clamps are connected incorrectly.
• 4. Battery Low Temperature Reminder: Alerts if the battery temperature is too low or too high for optimal operation.
• 5. Battery Pre-heating: A unique feature (GT4000 model) that warms the battery in extremely cold conditions.
• 6. Ready to Start the Vehicle: A solid indicator shows the unit is ready to jump-start a vehicle.
• 7. Pre-heating Temperature Display: Shows the temperature during the pre-heating process (GT4000 model).
• 8. Charging Power: Displays the power being drawn or supplied.

Ports and Charging Capabilities

USB-C In/Out Port (PD100W Max): This port supports Power Delivery up to 100W for fast charging of the jump starter itself or compatible devices. For maximum input speed, use a PD100W USB-C wall charger or SC100W car charger (sold separately).

USB1 Out Port (QC3.0, 18W Max): Offers Quick Charge 3.0 compatibility for rapid charging of smartphones and other compatible devices.

USB2 Out Port (5V/2.4A): Provides a standard 5V/2.4A output for general device charging.

DC Out Port (15V/10A, Max 150W): This port allows you to power 12V devices that use a cigarette lighter socket, using the included Cigarette Lighter Socket Adapter.

How to Start a 12V Vehicle

Ensure the vehicle battery has more than 20% power before starting.

Note: Do not press the BOOST button before connecting the vehicle battery clamps correctly.

1. Connect Vehicle Battery: Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle battery.
2. Check 'READY' Indicator: Once connected correctly, the 'READY' indicator on the display screen should appear solid. If an 'X' symbol appears, the clamps are connected reversely.
3. Start Vehicle Engine: With the 'READY' indicator solid, start the vehicle engine.

How to Turn On/Off the LED Flashlight

Power on the unit, then press the power button for 1-2 seconds to turn on the LED light. There are 3 modes: Normal, Strobe, and SOS. Press lightly to cycle through modes or turn off.

IP65 Water Resistant

This unit is resistant to splashes and can prevent water ingress in daily life. However, it is not designed to be immersed in water.

Pre-heating Technology (Unique feature for GT4000 model)

The GT4000 can operate in environments as low as -40°C and reach starting temperature within 100 seconds. The jump starter automatically activates pre-heating after connecting the vehicle battery or pressing the BOOST button for 1-2 seconds in extremely cold conditions.

A: This unit uses a lithium polymer battery. The operating temperature is -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). If the ambient temperature is higher than 60°C (140°F), the internal construction of the battery cells may be damaged, it may swell, and become unsafe. So, do not store the device in a vehicle parked in hot weather for long periods.

Q2: How to start a vehicle with this unit?

A: Please refer to the instructions in the "How to Start a 12V Vehicle" section.

Q3: How do you know if this unit is connected to the vehicle correctly?

A: With the battery clamps connected to the vehicle battery, if the 'READY' (Solid) indicator appears on the screen, it means the clamps are connected correctly. If an 'X' symbol appears on the screen, it means it's connected reversely.

Q4: What should I do if this unit can't start a vehicle?

A: No.

Q10: How often does this unit need to be recharged?

A: It is best to recharge it every 3 months.

Q11: Why it shuts off in 30s when charging other devices?

A: This unit may shut off automatically when charging devices that require a light charging current (e.g., headphones, smartwatches) due to a minimum load current limitation (200mA). Please use the Low Current Mode when facing such a problem.

4. Do not use this unit as a toy. Keep it away from children to avoid accidents.
5. This unit works for vehicles (equipment) with 12V batteries; it is not for vehicles with non-12V batteries. It is forbidden to be used in other machines, such as airplanes and ships.
6. Do not use this unit if any cable, clamp, or cord is damaged, or if the unit is overheated, swelled, or leaking fluid.
7. Do not use it as a vehicle battery or a battery charger.
8. Do not use the unit to start a vehicle while charging its internal battery.
9. Only use the provided jumper cable to start a vehicle and the qualified charger to charge this unit.
10. Do not over-discharge the unit (do not let the battery run out); charge it regularly, preferably every 3 months.
11. Make sure the blue plug of the jumper cable is plugged fully into the battery clamps output port, otherwise, the blue plug could melt.
12. Ensure the battery terminals are clean before starting up and that the battery clamps are well connected. If the vehicle battery terminals are dirty or corroded, the unit's output power will decrease.
13. Do not attempt to start the vehicle continuously for more than 4 times within 10 minutes. If the engine fails to start successfully within 3 seconds after the first start, stop cranking and wait at least 30 seconds before starting again.
14. Do not connect the jump starter's clamps to the battery reversely after pressing the "BOOST" button to avoid accidents.
15. Use this unit to start the vehicle only when the battery power is more than 20%.
16. Do not recharge this product immediately after starting the vehicle; let it cool for 30 minutes before recharging.
17. Do not let the product be immersed in water.
18. Do not operate this product in an explosive environment, such as a place where flammable liquid, gas, or dust exists.
19. Do not modify or disassemble this machine. Only service technicians can repair this equipment.
20. Do not expose the product to extreme heat or fire.
21. Do not drop or squeeze the device. If the device is hit hard or damaged in any other way, it should be inspected by a qualified battery technician.
22. Do not store in places where the temperature may exceed 60°C (140°F).
23. Only charge at ambient temperatures between -10°C to 45°C (14°F to 113°F).
24. Under extreme conditions, the battery may leak. If there is a liquid leak from the device, do not handle it with bare hands. If there is skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid accidentally touches the eyes, immediately rinse the eyes with water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical help.
25. The device contains a lithium battery. At the end of the product's service life, or if the device leaks liquid, dispose of the device according to local regulations.
