Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Automatic Power On: Open the charging case cover and take out the earphones. They will start automatically.
- Manual Power On: When the headset is off, touch and hold the touchpad on either earphone for 3 seconds.
- Automatic Power Off: Put the earphones back into the charging bin and close the cover. They will turn off and start charging.
- Manual Power Off: When the headset is on, touch and hold the touchpad on either earphone for 5 seconds.
2. Pairing with Device
- Open the charging compartment cover and take out the earphones. They will start automatically and enter automatic pairing mode (one earphone's light will turn off upon successful pairing).
- Open the device's wireless list and search for "YD08".
- Click "YD08" to connect. If the connection fails, return the earphones to the charging bin, close the cover, and repeat the steps.
- If the earphones are disconnected from the device (beyond normal connection distance), they will enter pairing mode. If no connection is made within 5 minutes, they will shut down automatically.
- Language Switching: Before connecting to a mobile phone, triple-tap the touchpad on either earphone to switch between Chinese and English audio prompts.
- Once connected for the first time, the earphones will automatically connect to the last paired device upon restart.
3. Binaural Touch Operation
- Play/Pause Music: Tap the L/R earphone once.
- Previous Song: Tap the L earphone twice (under music status).
- Next Song: Tap the R earphone twice (under music status).
- Volume Up: Triple-tap the L earphone (under music status).
- Volume Down: Triple-tap the R earphone (under music status).
- Answer Call: Tap the L/R headset once.
- Refuse Call: Long press the L/R earphone for 2 seconds.
- Voice Assistant: Long press the L/R earphone for 1.5 seconds.
- Mode Switching: Tap the L/R headset 4 times to switch between Music Mode, Video Mode, and Game Mode.
4. Charging
- Earphone Charging: Place the earphones into the charging box. The charging indicator light will be red and turn off when fully charged.
- Charging Box Low Power: The single digit on the nixie tube display will flash.
- Charging Box Charging: The single digit on the digital tube will flash and stop at 100% when full.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Q: How come only one earphone has sound?
A: Place both earphones back into the charging bin simultaneously, close the cover to charge, and then take them out to check if the dual-ear mode is restored. If the issue persists, restore the device to factory settings.
- Q: The phone cannot connect to the headset?
A: Delete the paired "YD08" record on your mobile phone, then attempt the pairing process again.
- Q: How can I listen to music/talk without sound?
A: For Android phones, go to Settings > Connection > Record (or similar). Click to enter and select audio output. Deselect and re-select. Alternatively, in Settings > General > Accessibility, set Call mode to 'Automatic'. If the issue is not resolved, delete the pairing record and retry.
- Q: Why is there stuttering/discontinuity?
A: Stuttering or discontinuous audio may occur due to interference from Wi-Fi devices, 4G signals, high-power appliances, or other environmental factors. Try changing the environment or re-pairing the device to restore the connection.
