Care & Maintenance

Inspection

Inspect the trampoline and enclosure before each use. Replace worn, defective, or missing parts. Potential hazards include:

  • Missing, improperly positioned, or insecurely attached frame padding, barrier, or enclosure support system padding and pole caps.
  • Punctures, frays, tears, or holes in the bed or frame padding, the barrier, or support system padding.
  • Deterioration in stitching or fabric of padding.
  • Ruptured springs.
  • Bent or broken frame or enclosure support system.
  • Sagging bed or barrier.
  • Sharp protrusions on the frame, suspension system, or enclosure support system.

Note: Sunlight, rain, snow, and extreme temperatures reduce part strength over time. Ensure defective or missing parts are replaced.

To order spare parts, contact your local dealer. Follow manual instructions for any exchanged or updated parts.

Cleaning

Clean the jump mat with a broom, then a garden hose and cold water. Wipe padding with mild detergent to remove dirt from seams and pockets. Ensure no detergent residue remains. Allow the trampoline to air dry.

Storage

During winter, store soft parts (foam pad) in a room-temperature, dry environment to prevent mold. Store metal parts indoors for durability.

In strong winds, remove the safety net to prevent damage.

To disassemble, follow the assembly manual in reverse. Use gloves during disassembly.

Replace the safety net after 3 years.

Retain these instructions for continued care and maintenance.

Use Instructions

WARNING

  • Do not attempt or allow somersaults. Landing on head or neck can cause serious injury, paralysis, or death.
  • Allow only one person on the trampoline at a time to prevent serious injuries.
  • Use with mature, knowledgeable supervision.
  • Trampolines over 20 inches (51 cm) tall are not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
  • Inspect trampoline and enclosure before each use. Ensure padding is correctly and securely positioned. Replace any worn, defective, or missing parts.
  • Do not jump from the trampoline to the floor or ground when dismounting, or onto the trampoline when mounting.
  • Do not use the trampoline as a springboard to other objects.
  • Stop bouncing by flexing knees when feet touch the mat. Practice this skill first.
  • Learn fundamental bounces and body positions thoroughly before attempting advanced skills.

WARNING cont.

  • Avoid bouncing too high; stay low until bounce control is achieved. Control is more important than height.
  • Keep head erect and focus eyes on the perimeter to help control bounce.
  • Avoid bouncing when tired. Keep turns short.
  • Secure the trampoline when not in use to prevent unauthorized access. Remove ladders when leaving the area to prevent unsupervised access by children under 6.
  • Do not use or stand near the trampoline in windy or gusty conditions. High winds can cause the trampoline to become airborne, resulting in serious injury, paralysis, death, or property damage. Disassemble and store the trampoline in such conditions. Anchoring may help but is not foolproof.
  • Keep the area around the trampoline clear of interfering objects.
  • Do not use the trampoline under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • For additional information, contact the manufacturer. For skill training, contact a certified trampoline instructor.
  • Bounce only when the surface of the bed is dry. Wind or air movement should be calm to gentle. Do not use in gusty or severe winds.
  • Users may become entangled or strangled by loose cords or gaps between the trampoline and enclosure.
  • Keep the enclosure tightly fastened. Failure to do so may result in serious injury, strangulation, or death.
  • Do not attempt to jump over or crawl under the barrier.
  • Do not intentionally rebound off the barrier.
  • Do not hang from, kick, cut, or climb on the barrier.
  • Wear clothing free of drawstrings, hooks, or loops that could get caught.
  • Do not attach unauthorized accessories to the barrier.
  • Enter and exit only through the designated enclosure door or opening.
  • Read all instructions before use.

Exercises & Tricks

Learn fundamental jumps and body positions thoroughly before trying more advanced tricks.

Note: To stop bouncing, bend your knees when your feet touch the mat. Practice this technique for safe stopping.

Basic Jump

Stand with feet slightly apart in the middle of the trampoline, body stretched. Keep legs together when bouncing, extending feet. Land on the soles of your feet, slightly apart. Push off firmly, stretch body upwards, swing arms forward. Part feet and bend knees on landing, using arms for balance.

Tuck Jump

Begin like a basic jump. Bend knees towards chest and gently place arms around legs at the jump's highest point. Release legs and stretch body before reaching the mat. Land with body stretched and arms by your sides.

Straddle Jump

Begin like a basic jump. Bend body at the hips with legs straight at the highest point. Part legs as much as possible with feet extended, trying to touch feet at the highest point. Land with body stretched and arms by your sides.

Seat Drop

Practice landing position without bouncing. Sit in the center with legs together, back straight, hands slightly behind, fingers forward. Practice landing from standing to a seat drop without bouncing, then with a small bounce. To stand, push hips forward and press down with hands. Aim to land in the center and on your feet.
