Mower Cleaning and Safety
Immediately after use, release the bail handle (2) to turn the mower off and unplug it. Wipe all exposed parts with a damp cloth.
⚠ CAUTION: DO NOT POUR OR SPRAY WATER DIRECTLY ON THE MOWER FOR CLEANING. Avoid storing the tool on or adjacent to fertilizers or chemicals, as such storage can cause rapid corrosion.
CPSC Safety Requirements
BLACK+DECKER Mowers comply with the safety standards set by the American National Standards Institute and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Note that the blade rotates when the motor is running.
Maintenance

Limited Two-Year Home Use Warranty
Black & Decker (U.S.) Inc. warrants this product for two years against defects in material or workmanship. Defective products will be replaced or repaired at no charge through one of two methods:
- Retailer Return: Return the product to the retailer from whom it was purchased (if the store is a participating retailer). Returns must adhere to the retailer's policy for exchanges (typically 30 to 90 days after sale). Proof of purchase may be required. Consult the retailer for their specific return policy, especially for returns beyond the standard exchange period.
- Service Center: Send the product (prepaid) to a BLACK+DECKER owned or authorized Service Center for repair or replacement at their discretion. Proof of purchase may be required.
