The CPANL™ Series LED switchable lumen flat panel is designed for versatility and reliability. It features an internal driver and a deep drawn backplate, offering a visually comfortable and rigid flat panel. This fixture can be recessed, direct ceiling mounted, suspended, or surface box mounted, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including schools, offices, retail spaces, convenience stores, hospitals, and healthcare facilities.

Construction: Built with an aluminum frame for strength and durability, the edge-lit platform ensures seamless corners with no light leaks. The satin white lens provides excellent shielding and a uniform luminous appearance. Its low-profile design enhances installation flexibility, especially in restricted plenum spaces. The backplate includes integral T-bar clips for easy installation into 9/16" or 15/16" T-grid ceilings. A direct ceiling mount kit (DCMK) is available for hard ceilings. The fixture can also be wired for continuous rows.

Electrical: Features long-life LEDs coupled with a high-efficiency driver for superior illumination and extended service life. It offers 70% LED lumen maintenance at 60,000 hours (L70/60,000). The fixture includes a 0-10V dimming driver that dims to 10% and has non-isolated dimming leads. The switch is factory set to the maximum high lumen output. For optimal 0-10V dimming, it is recommended to keep the luminaire at its factory default high lumen setting.

Accessories

Various accessories are available for the CPANL LED Flat Panel, including emergency battery packs and mounting kits. These are ordered as separate catalog numbers.

Emergency Battery Pack Options - Field Installable

All listed emergency battery packs are UL 924 Listed and certified for field installation. Minimum delivered lumen output is provided to assist with fixture mounting height selection. Delivered emergency illumination of CP10 models exceeds legacy 1400 lumen fluorescent emergency ballasts.

Emergency Battery Delivered Lumens Formula: Delivered Lumens = 1.25 x P x LPW, where P is the output power of the emergency driver and LPW is the luminaire's lumen per watt rating.

STAR System for Emergency Lighting

The STAR (Self-Testing Automated Reporting) system enhances life safety code compliance by enabling automated self-testing and reporting for emergency lighting. Users can choose between Mobile STAR, where test data is logged locally and broadcast to the Clairity™+ app, or Connected STAR, where data is logged via a STAR Gateway by IOTA® and emailed directly. This system eliminates the need for manual ladder-based testing and record-keeping.

Life Safety Code NFPA 101 Testing & Reporting Requirements:

• Testing for 30 seconds every 30 days.
• Testing for 90 minutes once a year.
• Record keeping and reporting to the authority having local jurisdiction.
