Device Details and Status
Underneath the “Name” column, you will find important status information for each device:
- Name of the device: The name assigned to the device.
- Serial number or Geotab device: The serial number or the Geotab device the camera is paired with.
- Camera Status: There are three types:
- Online: Indicated by green. Means the ignition is on & the vehicle is moving. The camera is actively recording.
- Standby: Indicated by orange. Means the vehicle's ignition has been turned off. The camera stays in standby mode for 30 minutes, allowing time to download/view footage.
- Offline: Indicated by red. Means the camera is not connected to the network and is not actively recording.
- IMEI: The IMEI is the number used to identify each device.
- Current driver & License plate: You can assign a driver and license plate number to each device.
