Powertrain Options

100% Hybrid: Full Hybrid E-Tech

Experience up to 40% fuel savings with the Full Hybrid E-Tech powertrain. Drive up to 80% of the time in electric mode in urban areas. The system combines a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery.

4Control Advanced

The new generation 4Control system offers an exceptional driving experience. With rear wheels that can turn up to 5º at speeds up to 50 km/h, the Renault Austral maneuvers with greater agility and less effort, making it as easy to handle as a small city car. At speeds above 50 km/h, the rear wheels can turn 1º, reducing understeer and enhancing the feeling of safety for both driver and passengers.

Comfortable and Efficient Driving:

The Renault Austral Full Hybrid E-Tech features a multi-mode automatic transmission for efficient and seamless driving. The transmission offers four levels of regenerative braking, which can be conveniently selected using the paddle shifters. When regenerative braking is engaged, the electric motor provides significant braking force upon releasing the accelerator pedal, storing energy to improve efficiency and reduce consumption.
