Programming the GICT390 Transmitter to the R42 Opener
Follow these steps to program your GICT390 transmitter to the R42 radio signal receiver on your door opener.
Step 1
Locate and press the "Learn Code" button next to the radio signal indicator on the power head receiver of the door opener. The indicator will begin blinking twice per second.
Step 2
Press the button on the replacement GICT390 transmitter once within thirty seconds (or press any one of the buttons, for the three-button model). The radio signal indicator will stay solidly lit.
Step 3
Press the same button again, also within thirty seconds. The radio signal indicator will go out and the transmitter is programmed to the door opener. If more than thirty seconds passes, or if you press a different button, the indicator will blink rapidly and the process will be halted. Repeat the process if this occurs.
⚠️ WARNING
In order to prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from a moving gate or garage door:
- Keep remote controls out of the reach of children.
- Only use the remote control when the gate/garage door can be seen clearly, is properly adjusted, and there are no obstructions to door travel.
- Keep the gate/garage door in sight until it is completely closed. Do not allow anyone to cross paths with the gate/garage door while moving or operating the remote control.
