Introduction The DIGITUS® HDMI Splitter splits your HDMI device's audio and video signals on two TVs, monitors or projectors with a resolution of UHD 4K / 60 Hz. Via EDID management, you can choose from 3 modes (Copy, Auto, Downscaler). The integrated Downscaler supports the output of 4K contents on Full HD displays. Additionally, a 4K as well as a Full HD display can be operated simultaneously. Thanks to its Auto-EDID function, the splitter automatically recognizes the connected displays - no manual settings required. The video splitter is supplied with power via the Micro USB cable, e.g. via the source device or a USB charging adapter. 2. Troubleshooting Problems Power light is off, and product is not working Causes No power supply Screen splash HDMI cable may not be HDMI 2.0 specification, or the cable is too long No picture out only sound out or output pink screen Maybe the displays can't support the resolution or the HDCP No picture out to a FHD TV when connecting a 4K@60Hz source, and have normal picture to the 4K HDR supported TV at the same time Maybe the downscaler function can`t support the input signal, such as 4K@60Hz 4:2:2 HDR signal(Dolby Vision) or when connect one FHD TV with a fixed 4K@60Hz output device Solutions Please check if the power adapter and Micro USB power cable is connected properly Please use at least one High Speed HDMI 2.0 cable that does not exceed the maximum length of the input/output cable of 5 m for 4K/60Hz (4:4:4) or 10 m for 4K@30Hz / 1080p Change a lower resolution of the input HDMI signal to check whether this issue or not; if not, maybe the customer should change a non-HDCP input source or HDCP compliant displays or devices The downscaler function only support the 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and 4:2:0(HDR 10) signal downscaler to 1080p signal, or there will not have picture output to the FHD TV, the customer need change a supported downscaler signal input. 6 Disclaimer Hereby ASSMANN Electronic GmbH declares that the Declaration of Conformity is part of the shipping content.
